Minecraft 1.0 will be released today at ~10:30PM GMT with an on stage thing at minecon.

IGN will be streaming it and there'll be panels by famous youtubers such as the Yogscast, captainsparklez etc, dev panels by the Mojang team, stuff about Skyrim Scrolls, MC Xbox edition. As well as partner booths such as Razer and Xbox.

Bukkit almost have their release ready, the full release of minecraft is barely different to RC2 so it shouldn't take long.
