Habbox Going to Court?

I remember reading on the old Habbox v5 skin that something racial or against the law happened on the Forum, it was reported to the police and someone was arrested over it. It then said someone from Habbox was/had to go to court over it?
Not sure what the whole story of it was or if it's me imagining things but could someone explain? Also, please don't move this to Questions and Queries about Habbox because some of the community may know part of the story.

We aren't currently going to court over any recent cases due to members from what I'm aware of. I know a number of cases that have been reported to different authorities over the years, not all of them will/have lead onto the courts. The one I remember the most and maybe because I was the one who dealt with it, was actually sent to the courts due to the laws they were breaking. I won't give any further information on this but I can gladly say they no longer have an account on Habbox.

This is also something we wouldn't post publicly so I'm interested in what part of Habbox V5 you did get this from?

Fair enough, I don't mean anything recent, it was on the FAQ on Habbox.com back when we had the v5 layout. Someone said, is habbox secure? or Have the law ever been involved in Habbox? and that story came up saying something about court.

Interesting, well at least you now know that people have been reported to the Police in the past and that some of them have gone to court. All for the safety of our users! I'm just going to close the thread as I don't want it turning into a discussion of people guessing names and so on.

Just two clarify we have been involved in three litigations in the past one for money owed to Habbox and another for damages caused by a breach of security and the last one we can't discuss.

We have been involved in several out of court settlements mainly involving money owed to Habbox or counters on other issues. IE the reason why we introduced the warez rule.
