whens the right time to put your tree up?

when's the right time to put your xmas tree up and take it down?

i think i put it up a week before and take it down a week after or you get bad luck or something

Erm what? The right time for me is erm 1st december it goes up then is it the 12 days after christmas or something we take it down! :P

You are meant to take it down at epiphany (6th Jan) I think? Anyway we put ours up in december and take them down around then.

We have no set timeeee, we just put it up whenever, usually like the 15th Dec. (Rather late) and take it down in Jan. :L

I've never heard of a 'tradition' for putting it up and taking it down?

Ours is usually up in the first week of December, and taken down in the first week of January :P.

We get real ones, so we generally get it a week or so before Christmas and take 'em down a few days after New Year's.

We normally put ours up the closest Sunday to the week before Christmas, and then take it down like whenever the twelve days are up after Christmas or whatever it is. :P
