Paedophiles should be offered a choice when caught of committing a crime against children, a life sentence (although a supporter of the death penalty, i've not yet made my mind up that death would suit the crime as horrid as the crimes can be) with no possibility of being allowed out unless they accept castration.

Commit an act against children;

- Life sentence with life meaning life.
- A harsh sentence (nothing less than 25 years) with parole granted if castration is accepted.

I think thats a fair deal.

Castration and harsh sentence? If it's 500+ years ago in China or the punishments are syariah laws based, then I can accept that.
And I don't know if I should trust that news.. But it's stated that he molested two girls. He didn't kill them.

Hmm, I think he deserved to spend a lot longer in prison tbqh. Those 2 girls are probably scarred for life after what he did to them... and omg at how he was rejected from 20 countries :L.

Agree and chemical castration would go a long way to solve this problem. If they are genuine about changing their ways they would volunteer for this. This is a very poor decision that sends all the wrong signals.

:O *rubs eyes* Are you two agreeing with each other?! I sort of agree with Undertaker too. It's one of those moments where you would hate to have it done to yourself (castration) but considering how dangerous paedophiles are to young girls and boys, it's the safest option. Either lock them up for a substantially long time, if not for life, or castrate them and release them early, given the time locked away fits the crime or number of crimes.

And what would castration be able to change? Removing his testes doesn't mean he will stop molesting girls and enjoy child porn?
Relevant punishments should be done so that molestation comes to a halt.
