Tired of browsing a forum packed full with pointless threads? Tired of reading through threads with pointless replies? Tired of spending time typing up quality threads, formatting them, posting them, then wasting time reading through the replies because the majority of the replies are "***", "google it", or "lol". OrbForum is a brand new forum. A forum for gamers. A forum for developers. A forum for technology lovers! OrbForum is set to fling open its doors this Friday afternoon and hopefully draw in some awesome website, script and application developers, hardcore mobile, PC and console gamers, as well as technology devotees!

What else can we add really? If you're a casual or hardcore gamer, a website, script or application developer, or just a technology lover in general, you'll love OrbForum! Our aim is to attract the most talented technology devotees to offer honest support to other technology lovers and also complete noobs to technology. Attract gamers to congregate and discuss the biggest games on sale and upcoming, from Skyrim to Modern Warfare 3. And also to attract some awesome website, script and application developers to help those looking to start learning HTML, CSS or PHP, maybe even Java! Don't worry thought, we also offer some awesome general discuss forums!
The most important thing for us is to keep the forum clean, we expect only quality posts! We're dedicated to keeping OrbForum spam free, troll free and professional friendly. We want to be the first place you think of for technical support, advice or a just a general chat.

Don't panic! We're not going for the free open with OrbForum! We're the licence holders for vBulletin 4 and have been for over a year. We'll be running on vBulletin 4.1.8, the latest build to date. We'll be updating to the latest builds of vBulletin as they're released, making sure that we're always secure and up-to-date!
Style plans?!
We've carefully designed and built a professional style for our vBulletin 4.0 forum. Believe it or not, our style has been optimised for the PC, laptop, tablet and mobile phone! Our style has been tried and testing on the following devices:
Windows 7 (21inc screen) – Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer 7, 8 and 9
Max OS X (27inc screen) – Safari
iPad (2sd generator) – Safari on iOS 5
iPod Touch (4th generator) – Safari on iOS 5
Samsung Omnia 7 (Windows phone 7 and 7.5) – Internet Explorer 9 and 10
We say no to crappy watered down styles! It's the 21st century people!

Need administrators or moderators?
To protect user account information and the forum in general, administrator positions will not and will never be given out to users who we don't know in person. Don't panic though; we need moderators and lots of them! We're looking to hire 4 moderators on launch night! We'll be needing them right away, so replies will be sent out to applications on launch or over the coming weekend, you won't need to wait very long at all! More information will be posted in the announcements section on launch night! Good luck!
