i don't really buy singular songs, i'd rather pay for the album and then download (oops) singular songs.

Isn't it only 0.99 cents per song? If you have like 10 songs on an album that's around $10 and thats about how much an album costs here in the States.

I pay for the majority of my music, which is usually bought from iTunes.

99p or less isn't much for a song really? :O and I pay for my favourite artists and then see if anyone else has songs I am looking for before I use my effort to get them myself :(

I buy CDs from artists I like, and I will buy songs from iTunes if I like them enough because I'm not a **** and like to appreciate a song that I enjoy.

Because it's just respectful? I'd be lying if I said I bought every single album I own, but I buy every one I can when I have the money. It isn't cheap to make and sell an album so if I want to support an artist I like I will pay the full price because I appreciate their efforts...

99p is nothing compared to when u had to pay £3.99 for a cd single when we were all computerless.

Lmao artists have to tour because if they didn't they wouldn't really get all that much money because of the amounts of piracy these days.

True, this is why single sales are higher now than they used to be and album sales are lower

That is a stupid comment, maybe some pop artists and well known earn enough money but it is a hard industry to crack.
I admit I do download music illegally but if there is an artist out there I appreciate then they do deserve my money as there music is top stuff. Also 99p for a track is hardly a lot to ask for considering the time it can take artists to produce a track.
