If you're smart and pay it off each month, a Credit Card
If you cant trust yourself to pay it off, definately the Debit :)

Debit, means 1. I don't have to pay interest and 2. worry about paying something back with money I don't have.

You don't pay interest on a credit card provided you pay the full balance within an amount of time.
Many credit cards also add the benefit of additional insurance cover on purchases and sometimes the ability withhold payment for merchandise which proves defective. Some offer bonuses for just using the card such as store points or vouchers.
If you use them wisely then they are potentially better, the only problem is that the majority of the public aren't particularly smart with their money.
I use Debit card. Because i'm worried that i cant pay it off lol

A debit card with an overdraft that reflects your income, just incase you really need it. Never get involved with credit cards if you dont need to. It's all well and good saying you could pay it off, but when you are using it again and again especially in the Christmas period, you might get in way over your head.

Always used a debit card, and will continue to for the immediate future.
Once I'm earning a decent and sustainable wage, I may get a credit card. But I don't think itsnecessary, you can always get an overdraft if you really need a bit extra.

debit card with huge overdraft limit >
i've had bad experiences with credit cards, its just too easy to over spend and create problems for yourself, get a debit card and save for the things you want, no debt involved

debit card pls.
i would end up spending all the money on a credit card on complete ****e and get myself into debt haha. i use debit card because it actually has money that belongs to me in the account and not what belongs to the bank.

At this age, I'm pretty certain I'm never going to 'touch a credit card'...
We'll have to see how that works out with age.. :P
But right now, I'd have to say debit only...
Debit. I'd be in so much debt right now if I had a credit card.
Credit cards used correctly can be great to establish your credit etc, but for me I'd go with debit, I suck at money management, and I love to spend frivolously!

Debit card for sure, there's no worrying about interest or having to pay it off by a certain date. It's all your own money, unless you go into an overdraft that is!

If your old enough to get a credit card and your still on here theres problems...
However Credit cards can be incredibly useful and you can in fact make money of them, along as you use them correctly.
