What do you want your dream house to look like?
I wish to have a cottage house.(yn)Warm and cozy... something that looks like this..

http://www.wunderground.com/data/wximagenew/b/barbermel/66.jpg

Yeah. That's my dream house but I want it at the mountain or river. Places that have jaw-dropping scenery and calm and away from the busy cities. I want to have a garden surrounding it and I would like the weather to be cold but not 0 degree celcius below so that I can enjoy hot drinks. :) And I want to have my own collections in there. About music or anything historic. Like a mini museum. And I want to play old music in there like er 'Dream A Little Dream of Me' by Mama Cass.

Well, those are just imagination. Won't happen anyway. Thought it'll be good to have something to dream of rather than nothing at all.

What about you?

i want a place like my home here, in town where i can easily access everything but not a busy area.

I'd prefer a little something like that cottage as well ^

I'd love to live near a river or some sort in the countryside and I'd have like flowers absolutely everwheree (I love flowers tbh :L), and tbh, I'd prefer it to be in a more colder part of the UK, I'm not a fan of heat >.<

i'd rather have a fancy apartment/penthouse (similar to the expensive ones in manhattan) opposed to a house tbf. one day i'll own one, one day...

I would love to stay where I am now (the area, as it's nice, by the sea and you can get most stuff near by. Probably want a cosy house but wouldn't mind a nice modernised one!!

My dream place would be a condo in Canada. Would love to have an outdoor ice hockey rink, indoor and outdoor football/soccer pitch. Also an indoor swimming pool. Probably would like an indoor basketball court, maybe a studio where I could make some music and produce. Would also like my own cinema/games room to play video games in. Also would like a balcony I could sit on outside of my bedroom.

A cozy house on the mountain would be perfect!

For me it definitely has to be extremely modern, mostly white, clean and sharp looking, with giant glass windows everywhere! Haha..

Ohh I can imagine it now, what a depressing thread...

You would need a few cleaners to keep that place clean!

A flat/apartment with a fairly big main room. Fast internet.

In anywhere I buy in the future, if it has 50-100mbps internet I'll buy it, even if it is in hackney or croydon

I'm happy with an average town house, but I wouldn't mind going anywhere really if (assuming I'm married) my wife wanted to move. As long as it has the use of modern technologies available and isn't in the middle of nowhere then I am happy. Though I would like to avoid the more crowded places of cities.

I love the house that I live in now. It's a nice, spacious cottage in a quiet-ish village with fantastic views and a large amount of land... The house I want in the future is the sort of house I'm in now :)

Anything but a modern house.

I'd probably say, being realistic, the house I live in at the moment (large Victorian semi-detatched) i've done a cottage garden style and i'm training a virginia creeper up the side of the house so it'll look fantastic in a few years especially in the autumn months when the foilage turns bright red. I'd change the interior but hey, its my parents house at the end of the day!

there are theseabsolutelyamazing houses as you're coming into london from some direction (i'm totally useless) but they have these amazing massive windows with incredibly high cellings and they look sort ofdilapidatedbut so arty and gorgeous.

but also I would love a flat in a big town house, maybe georgian, with big high cellings and lots of light with bare floorboards and lots of nice paintings and rugs
