Hello,

I don't really want to go into much detail because it's really complicated and quite personal to me but basically my grandfather died around that time and and the press wrote a-lot of stuff about it that wasn't really true but I still want to read it and see what was said.I was wondering if anyone would know anyway I could get access to UK newspapers from around the 1970s - 1980s as this was around the time it happened, preferably Scottish newspapers as-well as it happened in Scotland.

Sorry if this put a downer on mood but I really want to know as I want to experience first-hand what the press does and how it can judge families etc and make people sound like what there not. This would be good for me because I can understand it because I know the real story. The only person that would know is my grandmother but I don't want to ask her because I've heard she's very sensitive about it.

Thanks if anyone can help me.

My family has negative stuff printed about them all the time. I just don't read it :)
