Sort out front page

I was just looking at HxF on IE for a second and I saw this:

Not going to lie, it looks terrible, the notices take up the top half of the page, new members do NOT need to see this. Nor do they need to see a poll. Nor do they really care about the donation counter, all they will care about is getting away fast before their computer grinds to a halt.. Please fix this.. quick.

Yeh the notices are pretty big, plus a new notice daily is winding me up :(

Looks ugly imo. I dont like the new winter skins. Look like recolours...

It really hurts my eyes. (Habbox main and Forum) Blue is to bright for me, and looks like a total recolour.

I've removed the poll but there isn't an option to keep that hidden from guests in the plugin that puts polls on the forum index. I've also edited the two notices so they don't show up for guests as well, thanks for bringing it to our attention and it does indeed look messy and not very inviting for any of the guests.

Is it possible to autohide the donation counter for guests, it covers up the register button, possibly confusing them if they get told to register by some event.

No problem. It's about forum notices, the notices would look messy on any forum skin not just the winter one! :P

No there isn't but you can just close them off with the X anyway.

It shouldn't cover up the button but I'll bring it up with [@]@HotelUser[/@] and see if he can hide it for them.
If they have any toolbars or if they don't have a huge screen like you or I might be used too it probably does overlap. At around the browser being 1200 pixels tall it covers it up.
