View Full Version : Average age/maturity here? Contemplating whether to come back or not

Just wondering what the average age it is here, if you could give me some insight (your age/experiences). It's just that I used to be a member of many fansite forums since the start of habbo, I left a while ago and I can't seem fill the void :(. But now, since I'm 17, nearly 18, I was wondering if I was a bit too old for this forum and if I should just deal with it and not come back, I just sorta want a place to socialise/get to know people again since I don't care much for habbo. (This is in no way supposed to offend anyone relatively young here just a legit pondering)

I believe there was a survey done earlier this year and most people were around 15-17 with many people here at university and in some cases beyond.
Also the age of the people here tends to increase almost directly as time goes by.
I'd certainly say this is one of the most, if not the most mature fansite forum.

Hmm, I thought it centered around the younger ages a bit more than that..
I'd like to add that the core group of "regulars" doesn't tend to change very much (In terms of new young members and losing older members) so the age of that group certainly changes very consistently.

that was one year ago so most people should be 18 now

I don't play Habbo and turn 18 next month! You get a lot of the older members in the spam section.

not neccecarily, chippiewill pointed out rightly there that due to new members joining and older ones leaving the average will probably stay the same.

I'm 18, nearly 19, and I feel that sometimes I'm too old for this forum. As someone else said, age doesn't necessarily mean maturity, and despite a lot of "older" people posting in Spam, I wouldn't go as far to say that a great deal of them are necessarily that mature...
i am 21 and i find it depends who you talk to on this forum in regards of maturity. in general i find most of the people who post constructively and consistently mature.

I'm 16. My sense of humour is quite immature but apart from that I suppose I'm mature, at least relative to my age I am. I'd say in response to the question, there are quite a few immature people but it's generally balanced.
There's a few of us in our 20's, I'm 21 myself, and I'm too mature for my own good at times -.-
Lots of people on the forum are 18+, most of the spammers are I think
I am 19 myself
