I find that seriously weird, I really don't understand it and tbh I'd find it so awkward if I was on an advert for Habbo.. oh my god.

That's the meaning of the advert :
The mother is always taking care of his son and she isn't letting him to do what he wants.
So in this advert, habbo is telling to the players that on habbo there's not your mother : "Et il n'y a pas ta mère" = "And there's not your mother!".

Sorry for my english ;)

Not great. Mind you it is French.

Don't get it myself, suppose the voice overs might explain something.

The guy in the hoodie in the second clip makes this advert.

Very odd, doesn't capture Habbo in the slightest...

looks like it works for the french so it must be okay. french habbo has a load of people anyway (i play it when habbo.com goes down)

The idea that you can wear what you like and do what you like without your mum policing your every move will I think appeal to the youngsters of france... do you not?

The age of the actors is a tad misleading considering the main userbase of Habbo is made up of 11 year olds. There may have been a lot more users in their late teens in the past but that's certainly not the case now.
