Why is it the official habbox trade room....

There has been an announcement in this section for a while now about varnius' trade city being the official habbox trade room.http://www.habboxforum.com/forumdisplay.php?f=24

W (http://www.habboxforum.com/forumdisplay.php?f=24)hy is habbox advertising this room and calling it official when there isn't a single mention of habbox in the room, its name or its description.

The official rooms list is perhaps not as updated as it should be although scott's right, some of the rooms use wired to advertise which I think might be better as people can click a link with a wired message. :D

Just realised that now. Didn't notice the wired the first few times due to the high amount of spam.

I still think it's inadequate though that the official habbox trade rooms only mention of habbox is in one line of a wired message that doesn't stay on the screen for even a second.

I'm pretty sure it used to be in the tags too before, so not sure why that changed. The official rooms list is perhaps looking a bit outdated, and the rules for entry to the list may need tweaking a little perhaps if it's felt that the advertising isn't working fairly in both ways to benefit both sides.

Yes, perhaps I should make a brand spanking new trade room with the help of some users [I will pay for all the furni] then it will have Habbox all over it :)

I think that's an awesome idea in my opinion. Having something about habbox rather than supporting habbox is better.

Thats the problem, to get a room busy is hard, ---MAD--- tried it in the past and his room didn't succeed very much

Varnius' trade room is already fairly popular, no idea what happened to vintus and that other guy who done original trade cities, but seems his is popular one now, so to make another room like that and get it constantly popular would be difficult.

if i'm not wrong varnius is involved with another new fansite and maybe perhaps is gearing up to support that.

Yeah Varnius is at another fansite also, I am sure if not certain that one of the DJ's (think it was Gina [@]@Yuxin)[/@] held a party in Pigperson's Mega Arcade once and it got fairly popular so I agree they should be used for that purpose too!

True, although it would be hard to get it popular at first, all it would take is some time and constant effort at it.
