Anyway it's probably the best FPS this gen imo and is what got me into games quite frankly, though I have it on PS3 (well my brother does) and it's unplayable for me from lag.

Wrong, the best FPS for the current gen is counter-strike, don't debate it, just accept it.

Call of Duty 4 remains my favorite of the franchise. As for the Counter-Strikeargument, I have a lot of fun there too. I didn't get CoD4 on the PC, but considering it's so cheap on Steam I might get it now.

I have CoD4 on xbox, ps3 and pc, and the only time I play it any more is occasionally on pc for the mods. The xbox version is unplayable because of all the hackers :l and I'm not sure about the ps3 version, but I imagine it's the same.

There was a horrible hack at one point but oddly, IW actually patched it so there's not really much hacking or anything. It's just a shame there's a lack of players but when activision makes the inevitable COD4 remaster, I shall probably purchase it if it improves quite a lot.
