So what will happen now that lukes been hacked? Will he be fired or what? What were his roles even?
Plus has anyone IP checked his name agaist the db to see who it actually was who hacked him?

Well it's not something we are going to start discussing in feedback threads whether someone is going to get fired because you have heard he has been "hacked". You aren't even sure what accounts were hacked in the first place, he won't be getting fired and he will keep all of his previous roles also.

If hackings have taken place on accounts that are on Habbox then obviously we do check the IP addresses.

What assumes that we know the hackers name? It didn't take place on Habbox, we also safety ban accounts on Habbox as a precaution.

There is really nothing to keep you up to date on. This didn't take place on Habbox and there is no security breach at Habbox, all of your accounts are safe in terms of Habbox's side. It's more down to the users themselves to ensure that they have strong passwords and take other actions to keep their accounts safe and secure.

Ive just gone on to habbo and it does not look like he has bbeen hacked most of his furni is there!!!

No he didn't, just because someone's Habbo account has been taken over. Doesn't mean their Habbox one has too. Whats with all the questions this time round?

Alkaz forum account got hacked and caused damage to the forum. There is a difference between:

Habbo account being hacked and no damage to Habbox has been done.

Habbox accounts being hacked, damage being done to Habbox such as threads being deleted, viruses onto Habbox etc etc.

Well they got into all his emails, not sure if Habbox management still had to remove their emails or not so was just asking. Its 21 questions matthew, please play fair :)

A lot of people have had their emails removed from Habbox accounts.

Not always the case, wouldn't happen if the accounts had no emails attached to it.

I still disagree with Jordan's dismissal as there was hardly any damage apart from trashing of hxhd which I think is ridiculous as his rights could have just been removed for a month! We can't really compare that with Lee's dismissal, be was dismissed because his forum account was compromised and a lot of damage could have been done which would have caused harm to users, especially if David wasn't online at the time.

I'm not sure what you are trying to assume here? If a hacker has got into someone's email account and then tried the "Forgot password" function on whatever website, then they could probably get into it if they email is attached. But if the email isn't attached then they won't get it via the email method.

Jordan's dismissal was months and months ago and times have changed. This isn't up for discussion and Jordan is back as Habbox Staff in Super Moderator role, hardly did anything bad for him.

I don't understand why Habbox Management feel the need to fire staff if their account is compromised. Once you've been hacked it's usually under the understanding that you will take greater care, if not greater care than those not yet hacked. It's also a bit rude of management to do it anyway - "Thanks for the work you've done, but one small mistake means we hate you now. Take care xox" One bitten, twice shy - the idiom which strangely crops up in any management strategy discussions and theory - on how employees can become greater with age and with experience, without being considered scum for a small, easily fixable mistake.

My two cents at least.

They are only fired if damage has been caused to Habbox.

We do not fire staff members just simply because they have been "hacked" on Habbo (probably over fifty staff members have had their habbo accounts compromised within the past several years and only a small fraction of those instances saw a dismissal). We fire staff members depending on what has been hacked and if any damage to Habbox has been done. We will not start discussing greatly why staff members were fired in the past and why they won't be fired now.

We had a thread about this in feedback the last time and it went on far too much. We won't be changing our "Hacked Accounts Policy", it isn't up for discussion. All staff members should be aware of the policy and there is a stuck thread with the criteria in the staff forums.

If a staff member's habbo account gets hacked and hasn't caused damage to Habbox then we aren't going to fire them. That's stupid and no damage has been done to the fansite itself, so I don't personally see why we should fire them. Now if their Habbox accounts were hacked and damage was done, then fair enough and there is a high chance they would be removed from their Habbox roles.
