I think there's a lack of good feedback posted in here so I thought I'd say how successful I think the HxHD Christmas Grotto is going. It's quite unlike anything I've ever seen at Habbox before and it's similar to a funfair in the respect that room visitors go from game-to-game to win prizes. It's not structured like The Cube or anything, it's quite a relaxed atmosphere. Postmodernists would love the amount of choice that's available.

All of the staff were ready and waiting for room visitors at 8pm GMT and they were all greeting players and ensuring they know how to play. Some of them should apply when Events applications open.. :P. The added bonus is that it's been extremely busy since opening too! I was there at 8pm and it was 8:20pm by the time I'd finished all the games - there's just enough to keep you occupied and the lines were short so you weren't waiting around for ages.

Thanks to Rosy and the HxHD team for putting together such an original event! :) xo

Just decided to go there now, and it certainly looks like a lot of fun :D. It's a shame it's only on for an hour :P!

I really enjoyed it. I think it was executed excellently and I think it was one of the only events in a long time which several people didn't moan about (barring one person...). I enjoyed the games and it's something I think Rosy, and the hosts, and of course everyone who went, compiled in a great manner.

The event maintained itself in the 30s throughout and sometimes reached the low 40s, whilst from time to time HxHD having a few people in too.

I really was very happy with this,
the games were fun and short which gave more people to play.
The theme was amazingly made.
And the staff were just amazing.

I really enjoyed this and I only played a few games as I was preparing my event too, I managed to bag myself some furniture and candy canes but overall it was an amazing event that most people seemed to enjoy.

What I would say is if possible maybe next year (yes Rosy you are bringing it back) maybe make lines for some more of the events such as the dice one whereby you had to get the same number on each as I know that got rather busy at some times and make sure you can't block near the teleport :P!

I think this could be implemented in other big things such as the HxEE and HxSS too!

Inseriousity.

It was a good event so well done to all involved. There are little changes here and there that can be made to improve it a little bit further in terms of practicality (queues, for example, were very hit and miss) but for a first attempt, I'm very pleased with how it ran like clockwork :D

It's nice to see some positive feedback in this section of the forum for once, haha.

I thought it was a really nice idea and I'm certainly glad that the people who were playing the games were enjoying it as much as I did hosting. It's something which I think should come back again next year as it was a real success and I'm glad that everything had been planned thoroughly before any major decisions were made. I think the games that were chosen were perfect for this particular event, they weren't too overly complicated and quite simple for everyone to play. There wasn't much to know after you got the hang of things, once you were in the event and won you would say the keyword to get back to the start and try another game. I think it's safe to say that the experience of being in the room was like a Carnival.

Well done to Rosy, all the people who hosted and of course to everyone who came to the event. :)

It's been running so much better since that David person left...

Unfortunately I was a bit late to see it, but I've poked my head into the help desk a couple of times since and it's looked to be much more active than it normally is.

Only thing I would suggest is make the room description advertise HxHD

If a member seen it on the popular list other than [HxHD] in the name there was no indication of how to get into the room as it was locked, would of been better if it said something i.e. 'Search xxMATTGxx for entrance / HxHD' or something along those lines and it might of been more popular :P

I didn't get the attend as I was in HxHD for the duration so I'm glad it went well :)
