I dont mean to sound if im Complaining, But I have a post that was helping the forums, multiple people read it, and it actually made a difference in the forum...... So this brings me to ask why I got 0 rep... I remember reading on the User accounts Post (http://www.habboxforum.com/faq.php?faq=new_faq_item1#faq_why_purchase_vip) That on reputation it says people rep for multiple things, one of the examples including Helpful post.. My post made a change in the thread, i think that could be counted as helpful? Sothis brings me to the question"WhydidI get 0 rep when i helped out?" :(

It is up to the members of the forum if they rep you or not. If they really believe that you have helped them then they might rep you, but it doesn't mean to say that they have to.

Theres also a rule about this too:

A10. Do not give or ask for pointless reputation ~ Give reputation points because the post helped you or you found it funny or insightful – not because the person is your friend. It is not allowed to ask for reputation either, whether directly or indirectly.

But as I see it they found that this would help people, So they changed a thread just to add it.... I think that this would not be counting as Pointless reputation. Evidence: http://www.habboxforum.com/showthread.php?t=699413(the red wording)

I know but I helped the users and in a way the staff, I helped them make something more clear for others, there is a difference between me posting a comment that only helps a single person and not getting repped,, and posting a comment that helps Dozens of people and not gettign repped. What im trying to say is I think I deserved just a little bit of Rep at the least..

you might find it as if you helped them, but it doesnt necessarily mean that the person would rep you lol, its up to them if they do or dont

Inseriousity.

You do good things because they're good not because you want rep for it. Rep can be given for beinghelpfulbut that doesn't necessarily mean that you'll get some. Just keep posting around and it'll eventually grow. Alternatively, you can earn it slowly through other means such aswww.habbox.com/comps (http://www.habbox.com/comps)

edit: lol chels is stealing my words, rude much :(

I don't see why you're posting this, it's up to others whether they rep you or not. To be honest, as mike said, you should be helpful just for the sake of being helpful and not for rep.

There's also other ways of getting reputation on the forum, events being one of them.

All you need to do is win one round of a Habbox event to get you some reputation points added to your account. :)

I agree with Publicised. The more you post in a helpful positive way, the more well known you will get and the more members will +rep you in appreciation. We all started off with no rep. It just takes time. :) In the reverse I also think the more you complain about it the less chance you will have of receiving it as everyone is in the same position as you to start with.

Something here is a great example of how reps given out, you got more rep from this thread than your old helpful post :L . Just goes to show you how far user discretion goes.
