View Full Version : Accessing HxF on Blackberry

Idk if it is just me but it just has a white screen, and nothing loads, and I know the site is compatible with mobiles as it has mobile skins. Wondering if there is anything you guys can do to help resolve this, like example, set it so if any browser enters HxF's address it automatically loads on mobile skin so it does not have a lot of stuff to load if you get me

Blackberry Curve 8250/8520 (can't remember which)

Thanks!

You can set this in your UserCP.

UserCP > General Settings > Mobile Device Detection.

I'd highly recommend you download Tapatalk instead though.

Nope :{ Mine was originally set as enabled by default. Plus that's on my account settings. I am talking about the whole forum.

yeah I have the same problem. I've tried a number of different settings including legacy skin, new mobile skin, automatic detention, not automatic, deleting cookies etcetc

but oo didn't know you could get tapatalk on blackberry, I'll try that

The problem is the browser on your mobile device is not rendering the javascript correctly (which the official vbulletin skin relies heavily on). Your Javascript engine is most likely hitting a fatal error in jQuery Mobile however I am unable to replicate the error because I do not own a BlackBerry.

The good news is vBulletin version 4.1.9 pushed out an updated version of jQuery Mobile which quite possibly does execute fine, so we will see about upgrading from 4.1.7.
