Soon we may be able to put any furni on marketplace, as habbo.de now can!



We open the flea market ...Starting today, you can create a whole new range of furniture in the flea market buy / sell, even those currently in the official store are available!
There are a few exceptions, such as pets, teleporters, WIRED, or products that were purchased with pixels.
This should particularly pleased about the dealers and collectors among you. Completely new possibilities in the field of action, so to speak! We wish you good business!




I wonder if you can do untradeable furni, like those capri-sun furni!

Absolutely awful, hope this is not implemented on .com . The catelogue allows balance and offers range of profit and an ability to clearly put a price on something that will remain stable. The mp has already corrupted many an item due to those who can't be bothered to wait so instantly put furniture lower, and it would be stupid to allow even more to enter the mp. This would also likely create a drop in most furni if the stuff still remains in cat, yes admittadly people will put higher to accomodate to maybe average 1/2 of cat price instead of 1/3 , but all this will result in is harder selling and possible falls to too low of an amount. Also consider for isntance kitchen blocks, 2c per in catelogue, sells 2 per 3c in shops. If we were to allow them into mp, people aren't gonna put at 2cwithout commision cause poeple'd just buy in shops/ cat instead of 3c in mp. This will end up with a drop since people gonna be putting in 1c[2c] and still matching the catelogue, only causing a huge drop.

This is a flawed idea from habbo and I for one would definately be on the forefront of complaints if it was to go through, it can't be let that more destruction is caused to the habbo economy.

Quite worrying tbh that they would even consider doing this, laughable how idiotic they can be to not realise the damage itll cause. Do they not realise that amount of people selling gonna decrease as they not gonna want to sell it, amount of people buying for cheap gonna be exploited, people gonna generally buy less effectively as no-ones gonna want to sell at these prices and therefore general trade will actually slow, and that's getting too far into the effects of downfall of the habbo economy imo.

Cheaper catalogue furni is good, but nobody will buy from catalogue?

[@]@Samanfa[/@] i'm sureme u ruby and jess and all the other skilled merch's could hold theeconomy up somewhat, but in honesty, the effect of even the merch's is not gonna be able to hold prices stable for long, as that's one of the vital reasons for us originally to even try and focus on the higher valued items that are still in catelogue as they aren't suffering from the marketplace.

I guess it's a good idea but it just defeats the purpose of shops, means it will be harder for everyone to sell their furni at shops without paying the 1c Marketplace fee. This will either drives prices up or down, I'm not sure which yet.

I fully disagree with the mp even existing however I'm not sure whether this would make prices go up or down, just have to wait and see habbo fail even more or get better. I reckon prices are going to go down from this though. -.-

So basically.. noone will buy from the catalogue. There will be no set price for anything because everything will become worthless (as if things arent worthless enough)

This would ruin it and the 1c commission (which is bull) just makes it even worse. I really hope they don't do this because it would screw up trading and values even more. I truly hate how people can rig the values on the marketplace and how it just reduces the price of things and how habbo make you pay 1c commission plus the 1c for sales, seriously grr :@

Habbo do all thes things to try make money then they do 1 thing like this that will drive them back to square 1. Market place can be good for rares but for the regular furni i think it should just stay in the catalog.

Agreed, I hate the marketplace and is the main reason I regularly quit the game for periods of time. It will probably drive down items a bit but since 2c will be the minimum (like currently is) not by too much. Odd that habbo would do this considering that up to now they've done their upmost to block the circulation of bought furniture.
