Last night I saw the news that the co CEO's and founders of RIM had stepped down from the position. At this point I knew it's not just myself who has a strong dislike for RIM and their sudo-smartphone products, because it seems like everyone else is finally catching on that they make horribly outdated non-smartphones.

Whoever this writer is, I am in love because they are just as angry as I am to see what used to be such a big Canadian tech company we could be proud of go to the dogs because it has been irresponsibly run:

The best part of the CEO transition is one of the old CEOs, one of the people responsible for ruining the entire RIM name by failing at every turn to compete with the rest of the industry, is now in charge of an innovation team within the company. Innovation of what? Under him hasn't RIM's stock plummeted, hasn't his tablet had to be liquidated at the expense of the company, hasn't all of the devices and business decisions under his jurisdiction lead to RIM sitting in the water like a duck not progressing whilst Apple and Google burst out of nowhere and slaughtered Palm, Windows Mobile and RIM? Atleast Microsoft's smartened up with WP7 and 8 for tablets.

If this new setup doesn't work out as the Engadget writer above believes and if RIM keeps going in the direction they're headed thousands of Canadians could lose their jobs, and an American or even Korean company could end up buying RIM out simply because this company has been run by complete idiots therefore lost all credibility and potential.
