I love it, it's got so much more of a classic M.I.A. feel than the songs on MAYA.

Album set to drop in summer, available to download worldwide tomorrow, and video for the track this Friday (Feb 3rd).

I think I heard this a couple of weeks ago, I quite liked it anyway!

Ihaven'tlistened to/\/\ /\ Y /\ or Vicki Leekx (apart from XXXO and Born Free, mind), but I thought Kala was ok, probably just a bit too BAM for me. I think the blogosphere kinda abandoned her during MAYA (cba typing that again) so I hope this is a relative 'comeback' album.

meh, it's ok. the only song(s) i like from her is obviously paper planes and then i like the video where all the gingers are killed (idk what it's called, maybe born free as that comes to mind but cba to wikipedia it).

Yeah the demo from Vicki Leekx is virtually the same as this, this version is just mastered better and longer... I loved Kala, but Arular remains her best album. Maya was fine but it was quite a departure that didn't really work as well... But this song is a good sign for this record, for me.
