hiyaaa,

so i've got a really ginger complexion (pale + freckley lololol) and i'm really struggling at the moment to find a decent foundation for my skin tone. i don't wear it heavily, just to cover up my freckles and give my face a little less of a ginger tone but even the palest shades in some of the more known foundations (dream matte mouse, the maybelline roll on one, loreal match perfection, the eraser) all seem far too orange or peach.

does anyone know any good brands/shades? it needs to be high street cause i don't have my debit card at the moment, so i need to be able to just walk in and buy it with cash (though we do have a selfridges in brum so like high end isn't out of the question.)

i've looked online for the nicola roberts range? but apparently that now only stocks at harrods so i don't really know where to go with that.

finally: when i googled this, i got "why not try fake tan", not rly interested in being darker trololol so yeah no tanning products please.

+rep.

i have rrrrrrrreally pale skin and the only foundation i get a good, proper match with is l'orealinfalliblein 015 porcelain
it's a little heavy but it's literally the only one i've found that i don't need to put all the way down my neck to make look normal, i've tried pretty much all the highstreet and high-end brands, none of the latter will stock anything near light enough for you

I have pretty pale skin and use the Nicola Roberts line but you ruled that one out in your post. I don't know of any others! I am sorry.

i found the nicola roberts stuff really oily, it felt like the play makeup you have when you're a kid
