you don't make an app with an app andy you need to know how to able to both code and design and it isn't just a quick job, developers spend months creating their apps and getting them right

For Android you need to learn Java, for iOS you need to learn Objective-C and Cocoa.

Doesn't sound like you actually know where to start to be fair.

Not sure how accurate this list (not an expert in thousands of types of code myself, but you say you are).

A nice list of programming languages:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_programming_languages

lol

Why do I sense a lie (check Tom's post)

If your "mates" "know others" why did you make a thread asking about the software when they are surely capable of sorting that out themselves?

No, when you open Visual Studio you have the option of what language you want the project to be in:

Just because an IDE supports multiple languages does not mean that they are the same thing. If you notice, I've also got support installed for C# and J# in Visual Studio in addition to C++ and Visual Basic.
