more rewards?

i saw yr pushing the 5 year thing which made me think about some of the other users who have been here and active for even longer. i think a few of us are reaching 7/8 years here now, which is a hell of a long time to commit to a website or forum. is there any chance of there being any more rewards than the 5 year one?

I've been here nearly as long as you Bethie but seems like 5 years is the maximum reward you get lol!
I personally think every year onwards of the benchmark of 5 years should be rewarded 3 months more of VIP. Although say if you wern't active for a year you cant just expect them to pass out 12 months of vip :)

i think this is a good idea. i think the 5 year thing is great, don't get me wrong. but some of us had that 2 years ago haha.

Its not really anything i'd class as being rewarded for, think registering on the forum and posting 100 posts is far more of a achivement.

Well most of the time it's only given to people who actually still visit the forum. There may be an odd exception now and then. But what do you want to see? Just an extra month or what.

100/200 posts within what time period? What they have on their account or they must of made 100/200 posts within say 2011/2012 or something.

well the first part was a joke, thought the ':P' attempted to hint at that. but nevertheless, whatever amount shouldn't be classed as a 'cheap shot' considering it's a gift to users, and anything should be appreciated considering it's free and people who qualify for the reward still would be posting even if they didn't get anything after 'x' amount of years.

i just don't see how being a dedicated member of the forum for 'x' amount of years equates to some sense of entitlement for a reward (or a greater reward), but hey...

Never the less its not like they are giving something thats worth say x amount of money, it doesn't cost them to give it out. Although i guess say for someone whos baught donator for many years, they are losing a small sum (Around £3) for 3 months of donator. Which i guess you have a point about, im sure you'd be on the other side of the fence if you had your account unbanned though :P
