This is the series where they moved the set somewhere else right? Can't wait either way.

No, thats the series after :P This series was meant to be part of series 7, but they've called it series 8 for some reason.

Hi guys, well spotted - the trailer has been pegged as 'series 8' through it is a continuation of series 7b. This series is set in Rochdale.

Tree the organial 3 series was the best. Some of the new people are just so boring and so many characters have died on Waterloo Road its stupid doing it over and over again.

The last good big moment I remember, apart from Sam (which the memorial execution was awful, I wish it was a proper funeral with all the family of hers there), was Maxines death (which I think was 3 or 4).

Anyway next week is looking like a sad one for Grantley :(

I caught up on last weeks episode last night and honestly in all the scenes between grantley and fleur I cried, I think it was really well done. One of the better episodes of recent times.

Also that guy with Janice is so dodgy, hasnt she only known him like a week? Or is waterloo road time meant to be longer

This series has been really good so far, very touching in recent episodes especially when Fleur passed away! I thought it was really cute how Grantley was trying to get her to remember who he was and then at the end she remembers, so cute. I love the storyline with Josh as well. I think Craig is a bit dodgy, but looking forward to tonights episode.

Just finished watching, Will Rush who plays Josh is such a good actor! I feel so sorry for Josh and I knew Craig was dodgy, I said that in an earlier post. I love it when i'm right! Feel sorry for Janeece. She had her hopes up and thought she met the man of her dreams :( Tonights episode was amazing, got to be one of the best in the series! It keeps getting better and better.

I was scared for him, I couldn't imagine me in that situation at all. Only a fantastic actor can pull that off well and he managed to do it! It's such an interesting storyline because you don't know what's going to happen to him next. I don't think Fin should of joined the gang, it's only going to end bad!

Anyway, I wish they'd kill off some of the **** characters but hey I guess the move to Scotland will allow for a good wash of a lot of them. I really detest the fact it is moving though, and it's completely absurd and if the Scots get independence and no longer pay TV licence towards the Beeb then it'll probably move back. Does anyone know why it is actually moving?

from getting together to a wedding in 4 weeks that was obviously going to be a con and a gang turf war that's boring but they will wring every last bit of tension out of it they can before it fizzles away and its like 'lol that it?'. i only watch it for grantly, chalky and janeece, theyre funny.

Oh the gang thing is a load of **** I agree, but this series as a whole is still better than the past one or two. I think the death of Sam will be my favourite plot for a long time.

Its actually been a really good series.

It was interesting to see how the move to Scotland was going to work out, the changing of schools to academies etc has proven quite useful for Waterloo Road. LOL.

Its definitely going to be interesting seeing how it works in Scotland, I'm presuming its going to be totally different students.

Some are returning if I'm correct, I just hope the new ones don't have heavy ass Scottish accents. I'll be confused if they turn out to be English though considering the woman said the school will take kids out of the local area. Also my prediction is due to the alcohol fiasco, the school is closed down but then the woman is like "you always said I could find you at Waterloo Road, so here it is" [as she presents the schools name to him].

From twitter I know that Michael, Tom, Sian, Janeece, Chalky, Maggie, Grantly, Josh, Scout, Lorraine Donnegan and Madi are returning. Laurie Brett (Jane -Eastenders) is joining as an english teacher and Alex Norton is joining as a rival head teacher.

I know Nicki is leaving at the end of the series and I think Matt and Lauren are too.

Yeah, there's no actual reason other than the "opportunity" which is just a device as the program is moving to scotland for the BBC's benefit.

I think controversy is the main thing, getting actual teenagers to pretend to yield weapons, fight, scenes of a sexual nature etc. I think a lot of people would disapprove. There's also probably an element of them wanting the actors to have some experience too. And besides, as long as they look the part it doesn't really matter.

Grantley will never die unless the actor quits, whoever produces the show knows how much people love Grantley :L I wish there was a few more sad scenes about Grantley and Fleur as while I could guess how the proposal was so quick, it should explain it and how he basically lost her years ago (he mentioned it once but I feel that it should have been touched upon more). That sort of thing is not done very well in Waterloo Road.

lol i never knew this. I always thought waterloo road had to be that school :( i know the layout and all to lool but can't wait to see who dodges the lorry (dunno how the driver could possible miss the road tho since its so wide and also so is the bit where they parked in at but okkk? )
