Some people have been advertising www.habbo.com (http://www.habbo.com) exactly like that, I'm not sure how but it doesn't link to habbo (don't worry what I said there obviously does :P) A lot of people have been coming and going saying click this > www.habbo.com (http://www.habbo.com) and it's the exact same link as habbo.com, but somehow... well it isn't habbo lol. Probably some sort of new scam, no idea how they do it though :o

In other words, summary:

People are advertising the exact same link as www.habbo.com yet it does not link to actually habbo. Do not click links if you see anyone doing this!

Thread moved here by Martin (Forum Moderator): From 'Habbo in General', as its more suited here.

Basically, always type it into the search bar yourself and dont click the link shown :)!

They're most likely using invisible characters in the URL so it links to somewhere else, thanks very much for the heads up!

Are they doing this on the client itself?

Are you talking about clickjacking? my friends were clickjacked a year ago, Don't think its possible anymore on client but it is possible on the habbo forums and guestbooks and it always will be

The method you posted sounded more of a hack than a scam so it's fine here i think. As others have said, I think it is good that members post the active sites that are lurking around Habbo so people can avoid these. I don't click on many links on Habbo so I don't think I would be affected.
