nothing that i can remember... maybe i stole a sweet or something when i was younger.
yeah.. i remember it was kit-kat, yeah i've stolen some kit kats when i was about 6.
Never did it again, i felt guilty lol. Nowadays even little shops have CCTV.

21-02-2012, 01:33 PM
yeah they have CCTV but you do know the cashier is not allowed accuse you of stealing? if we see people taking stuff were not allowed say anything until they've left the premises, so usually we just leave them and the manager will say they're barred next time they come in

I walked out with a 2 pairs of socks in Burton once, but completely forgot I had them in my hand...
Just walked out, nothing went off, so I decided it was their fault, not mine, and kept them.. ;) :P
I DIDN'T MEAN TO DO IT.

No I've never stolen from a shop. I remember my Nan telling me once that she had this purse thing in her hand in the charity shop and then never realised she'd taken it out of the shop haha.
I've never stolen anything from a shop, not even a pic and mix aha. I watched shortchange when I was little and knew it was actually illegal!
I don't really have an issue with it if people want to steal from massive shops as it's their own problem and those shops, such as topshop, make such a massive profit on every single item that I don't really care.
If I find out someone shop lifts it does make me think differently about them though.
No I would feel so guilty. I remember taking 20p from my mums purse when I was little and I got in so much trouble. REBEL
i used to live with my friend from college down at uni and she shoplifted, all the time. i didn't mind really (her life, let her get caught) but she started doing it in asda when we went food shopping and i didn't know until we came out and she was like "oh yeah, got some ____ in my bag". it used to scare me to death that i'd get caught with her and get done as well.
definitely judged her for it, i tell all my college friends now i'm back home and we can't believe she's such a pikey.

loads of students (and some of my friends) used to steal from sainsburys near to our college during break/lunch/free periods and some got banned (some didn't get caught), but i was just like do whatever you do but DON'T stand near me lmao. they brought in a security guard who'd always be there and follow you around the store (always followed me even though i never stole from there, i wonder why:rolleyes:). no surprise rly tho...

No. I didn't go to a pick n mix much when i was younger - and when I did go, I don't remember stealing anything aha.
I'd feel just incredibly guilty if I stole something - I wouldn't be able to find it in me to do it ;L

The only thing I stole was a dollynecklace sweet thingy, worth 10p x] I put it on my wrist because it was easier to hold, but then i forgot it was on my wrist and when i bought the rest of my stuff that wasn't counted.. ;o
I felt so bad that i threw it away whenI realised. I thought 'ogawd thats gonna be evidence for when they find out and i'll go to jail'. being 8 was fun :3
But imo stealing is just stupid, you'd have to be pretty messed up to actually take something..

Stole a bag of Haribo, a pen and The NDubz Biography book from WHSmith. Didn't get caught.

Not a pikey but you switch labels to make things cheaper :S behave
I took a pack of writeable CDs from Asda a couple of years ago, rebzzzzzzzz 2 da max must have saved myself AT LEAST three quid
Yeh I stole a few things whilst I was at school. Never expensive stuff, everyone used to steal from farmfoods back in the day.
i have stolen pick and mix sweets as a very young kid, but mum caught me and dragged me to the manager (i didnt know what i was doing wrong at the time) and when i was 13, because i was trying to act cool i stole like four biggish bars of chocolate and hid them while buying stuff at the SS checkout, didnt get caught but it was a stupid idea to make people think i was cool... :-$
I never intend to do any form of shoplifting again, never had since.

Nothing major, the same as others have posted. When I picked up pick and mix I just ate it there and then lol and I took moams from the spar shop when I was little too :)

I've never stolen anything from a shop intentionally - years ago I accidentally pocketed a Freddo bar but when I realised I went back and paid for it, they were 10p at the time lol.

No, but I did walk out of a restaurant without paying once. When I realised I went back to pay and they were astounded I had bothered.

now i feel like scum
i'm a completely different person to when i was younger. i followed the crowd but i felt bad about it all the time. when we were 14 we used to steal pretty much every tuesday, i'd take like eyeliner or lipgloss but some of my friends stole up to £40 worth of stuff including hair dye and perfume orjewellery. then we'd move on to tesco and i'd put tic tacs in my hat, creme eggs in my gloves, those squirty sour sweety things in to my belt lol it was so easy. one weekend i stole a box of pringles, just shoved them up my sleeves. my friends stole lunchables, brownies, pregnancy tests, condoms.... oh once my friend also took two bikinis in to the changing rooms, kept one on and walked out. my bf around that the time stole a small bottle of vodka. reduced **** were always kept in a basket near the door so they were so ******* easy to nick too. weird thing is none of us have turned out that bad, 2 of them went down a bad route but have completely changed their lives. people really can change i think, i know there is no way i will ever, ever steal from anyone ever again.

Yeah, back in high school when I was a child, me and my friends stole some things from Co-op every now and then. Just food and pens and stuff, really. There were four of us including me, and we did it about three or four times until we got caught. They let me and my other friend go though, because we didn't have anything on us, since we were stuffing all the things we wanted into our other friends' bags. I think they called the police and their parents. We didn't really talk about it afterwards, let alone ever do it again. I think it was more one of those led astray moments. It's hard to believe I actually stole anything and I'm sure if I were to tell someone I actually know, they would probably think I was lying. Guess I was just a stupid kid who hadn't developed many values or dignity then. I'd never steal anything now.

Heaps from supermarkets - Kit kats & other chocolate bars, loads of packs of gum [sometimes like 10 at once] and heaps of other stuff. as well as some skullcandy headphones
did feel kinda bad and don't really do it anymore, shops have cracked down on it now. almost impossible to steal.

No cos I've been marked down as a "bad kid" (genuinely no idea why) ever since I came to live where I do now in all the local shops.. Probably something to do with being adopted, so I've gotta be a creep, HAVEN'T I? :S
And all the supermarkets round here and ******* massive and have security cameras every other inch.. so I'd get caught if I ever felt the crazy urge to nick something :(
I've stolen things unintentionally a few times, and the only reason for that is because they didn't charge me for it. The only other things I can remember was when I started stealing WWE Cards from Woolworths, hahaha! :$
I wouldn't dream of stealing anything now though. I've kind of matured and realised that it's completely wrong.

No proper shoplifting for me, but I hold up the Pick n Mix bags a little bit in Wilkinsons while I'm weighing them for the price sticker, cheeky little blighter I am.
I live with someone who took an £8 bracelet from Topman (of all the things) and got taken back in by an undercover fella. I'm told one of the changing rooms had a secret entrance leading into where they keep the shoplifters, now he's just barred really.
Don't know why, but shoplifting is kinda one of those things you experience at least once in life.

Not really, it was only an IPhone 4S... lol jks stealing is wrong
I haven't stole anything, unless you can class eating the odd Pick N' Mix from Woolworths which you're practically paying for anyway, as there's only so much you can put in the bag as stealing..

Yea i stole candy from a grocery store when i was 5 and the clerk caught me and i had to show where my mommy was, bad idea lol she was not happy.
When i was 12 i stole an xbox game. I put it under my shirt and it was at the very back of the store and everytime i passed an employees i smiled and waved. Never did steal anything after that

errr, once i went to asda, like last year, and i bought some stuff i needed (hair spray, razors, loo roll) and some new toothbrushes, when i got home the woman hadn't scanned them through.. so i felt like i'd stolen them LMAO :|
Conspiracy.

The "biggest" thing I've stolen was a nougat (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nougat) from a market stall :P The guy wasn't looking and I just wanted to see if I could get away with it. Stupid really, I don't even like nougats :| I did "steal" a chocolate bar from the shop I used to work in (my boss was a **** and was awkward with paying me >___<)
I was tempted to steal a cute watch/ring from Claire's Accessory's before (it was actually in a pack but it fell out so it was lose) but I was scared I'd get caught.
My dad stole me eye liner from Tesco once :| :| :| It was £7 so he thought it was too expensive and put it in his pocket. He didn't get caught.

I had a pick a mix when I was like 10 and ate it and then told my mother straight afterwards aha.
And one pretty recently, I was in the shop and I was paying for FridgeRaiders basically just food,
And I forgot to put them on the till while I was paying but she never noticed lmfao.
Never anything with a value higher than 10p!

What a rebel!!!!!!
Actually yeah I think I stole a t-shirt back when I lived in Canterbury but I was trying it on and it was so comfy I forgot to change out of it (cos I had been trying on loads of stuff) and so I walked out the shop and accidentally left my old top in there but I preferred the new one so I kept it. I hope they sold my old one.

When my family and I was vacationing in Florida I stole a small seashell from a souvenir shop.
Erm I remember when I was quite litle, like 5 I stole a packet of playdough off the front of a magazine because I misunderstood the 'Free Gift' bit on magazines haha.
I used to steal those jelly alien toys as well, but I haven't stole anything since, tbh. Although at lunch my whole year is banned from tesco because everyone steals.
I don't mind people that steal if they're friends but it makes me paranoid when I'm with them. The other week my friend Scott was wearing those combat army type trousers and they had long pockets so he went to the aisle where there wasn't cctv and shoved a cadburys bubbly chocolate bar, valentines card and a full packet of chewing gum in them. My other friend Chloe steals galaxy chocolate and silly things like that. I'd rather not be involved in stealing though

nope, haven't stolen and wouldn't do it, don't think it's right to be honest, well i've probably pinched a few sweets from pic & mix when i was a kid. one of my friends got into trouble for stealing the other week when we were in a shop in town though, she wasn't really stealing though.. we were in a pet shop [don't even know why] looking at these little squeaky dog toy things then we were leaving and one of my friends had the toy in her hand and didn'trealizeuntil we came out of the shop so she fired it out of her hand outside the shop and we all ran, a woman who worked there was in her car eating lunch though, and she saw my friend. she called her back into the shop and had the manager yell at her and take her phone number and address, i felt really bad for her though because it was a total mistake and she only done it out of panic, she was quite upset about it. i think i'd have done the same thing though, threw it from my hand out of panic, although the right thing to do would have been took it back and apologized. they never called her or went to her house though, luckily. she's not the type of person that would steal anyway..
