Can someone tell me

Before the merge in like 2007 or something, the UK became the tester hotel. Can someone tell me why they changed it from the Finnish hotel to the UK hotel?

I dont think a reason was ever given. Maybe its because the uk hotel was more popular and had more users? Not sure tbh.
