Sam broke kinda

hi guys, im back after what, 2 years?
so yeah, i decided i wanted to dj again, so i was setting up everything cos i got the heads up from jess, and i tranported about 20,000 songs from itunes onto sam... obviously, sam crashed after having to deal with gigabies of music. i tried to oopen it later, and it still wouldnt work. so i tried my other sam, (i was using sam2, so i tried sam 3) and that didnt work either
so i was wondering if anyone knows a working download to sam 2 or sam 3 for windows 7 and how to uninstall sam?

Uninstall SAM using Programs & Features in control panel.

I would highly recommend you use SAM4, which is the latest one. We cannot give out illegal links here, but you can get the trial from www.spacialaudio.com.

and uh, i deleted everything basic to do with them. the files in my downloads, and the link on my desktop...

so i go and take out all the stuff, and reinstall sam2
this happens
im very annoyed now, because as i said, ive been given the heads up and want to get on air ASAP!

Not sure about SAM2 but SAM4 allows for firebird which needs no real setting up.

I have a full edition of the latest Sam if you want it still :-) PM me!

Sam 4.9 is much better then Sam 2 and you probably won't get the messages you've posted above. Also when installing I recommend using Firebird, because its more reliable then Mysql imo.

all was going well... i uninstalled all of the sams, found a safe download of sam3 trial, and then i used an old code i found on my computer. then, as it was loading, that /\ came up and every time i have tried to open sam since it only does that. i left it for over 2 hours and it was still on that... anyone got any ideas whats wrong with it or hw to fix this?

can see one issue already you have samcast aswell on yr desktop, that needs uninstalling deleting.

have you tried going through the task manager and removing the sam's process? im not sure if that will help but maybe and yeah as bethie said, you need to get rid of sam cast

you can also try switching servers from mysql/firebird

you were right, i just needed to delete sam4 !
it works a treat now, all i need to do is tell jess everything and i'll have my 2 week trial ;B
well, i guess i can say thanks, and now i need to go watch a load of tutorials on how to use sam again :D
