I have a maths exam tomorrow (GCSE one). I'm dreading it. Seriously, I'm going to fail. xD

Does anyone know any good ways of revising? + Who else has an exam? :3

best way to revise a day before any exam is practice/past papers. good luck!

Do some past papers and then get a good night's sleep. Good luck!

I've not got an exam but a few of my friends have, haha.

Make sure you do a lot of revision before you sleep and before you go to school, it always helps. :)

I think my exams are different from you all because i'm not in the UK.

I got 3 languages exams next Monday  and Mod Math + Add Math exams next Tuesday!

From my experience, i did a lot of past papers and exercises for Math & Add Math.

So, good luck :)

I have my Maths exam on the Monday, 1 hour for Maths and the other hour being for Statistics. I kinda hate this, we haven't had long to revise for loads of mocks and it was a bit unfair on all of us how we've got like 5 days to revise for around 7 subjects.

I have RE, which I probably won't do so bad at as half of it is my own opinion so I probably won't do much revision, if any, for that.
I also have English (poetry :(), Media, Physics, Biology & Chemistry. I better start revising. (H).

Anyway, I hope you did well in your Math exam today Cerys! :)

I had it today. Was yours foundation or higher? I was doing foundation and I found it quite easy although I made some silly mistakes. 8000m is 800km... What was I thinking it's obviously 8 :(

It's far easier to get a c on higher because you only need 60 out of 200 but with foundation you need 160 odd marks for a c.

That's intentional, the exam boards want people to go onto higher if they're probably going to get a C as it's possible they get a B.

Foundation questions are stupidly easy though.

i did it for resit, the answers got posted on a student forum (idk if im allowed to post the link), counted up and I've deff secured 24/100 marks (sounds bad), but i think ill have got some more from workings. November was 47 marks across the 2 papers for a C so I', gonna be revising the calculator topics this weekend for monday. This was the last ever exam of this sort from edexcel so I gotta pass :(

November was 47/200 because that was a hard paper. Even I found it way harder than I expected :P (having said that I got 96% :p)

Some friends who took that paper as a resit to get an A* found it way easier than the November one, and my teacher said he agreed. That means that you may (or will probably) need a few more than 47/200 marks to pass.
