View Full Version : Sick-ish feeling
I have this sick feeling in my stomach which has been there for some time now (Since about dec last year till now) where its kinda a bubbly feeling and you know if someone scares you out of no where and you get the jumpy feeling in your stomach, yea well i have that to. Also feeling like im going to be sick at times but i never am sick. I have also been getting slight pains in my left hand side of the belly down low near my leg. I feel sick of nights and dont really eat tea but i feel fine in the mornings. (no im not pregnant :P LOL). I have been drinking a lot of water of a night time to settle my stomach down i guess. I dont have any food allergies either. If i find something interesting to do like, play xbox, computer, good tv show etc i will feel fine because i have forgotten about what i am feeling if you know what i mean  though i dont wanna be sitting on the computer/xbox all day. I dunno if it is acid refulx either because i sometimes get a feeling up in my throat n yea :P Mum took me to the chemist to see if there was anything that could help, at the time mum thought it was Nausea but i dont think its that. They told me to drink dry ginger ale and drink water and rest..... well that didnt really help -.- I went on holidays for 3 weeks and mum decided that she would take me to the doctor there. I said that i had pains in my stomach but its on the other side of my appendix so its not that. Im feeling like i have anxiety or something ??????? I wanna go tell someone im feeling like this but i thought it was way easier to type then speak as i can spend hours making this thread rather than blurting it out in 5 minutes. I really dont know what to say when talking to mum about this i dont wanna go up there and be like mum i have anxiety, because i dont even know if it is, im not really afraid of anything? I wanted to give you guys all the information that i could think of because when i try to talk to someone without a pen&paper i loose my words and cut out a lot of information. I just hate feeling this way ;l
it sounds like an anxiety because when you are occupied it doesn't bother you. are you eating enough / were there any events when you first noticed this?
pretty sure you can go to a doctor on yr own too if you don't want yr parents to know :)

Well the night this happened i was on my laptop then i decided i was going to go to bed. I woke up at about 2 am because i have either not swallowed properly so i have woken up thinking im going to be sick (very weird i know) and from there on i got a temperature around xmas time that lasted about 3 days. I still had the feeling after xmas but i said to my parents that i was feeling fine and not to worry. While i was on holidays i was considering telling my parents that i still had the same feeling and i did then they took me to the doctor to get my checked out and the doctor said i was fine just take this panadol to stop the pain, i told mum that i have been feeling sick ish in the stomach but nooooo she didnt listen and started talking to the doctor about what SHE thought was wrong with me.
i'm not sure on australian law but over you can see yr own doctor on yr own from the age of 14, i would definitely look into going by yrself. do you have a school nurse?

Er im not sure. I think we have a school nurse but i have never been to it. I will get pains in the back also sometimes so mum thinks it is something out what is making me feel this way so apparently she is booking me into a chiropractor to check me out. I dunno if its this or anxiety but ill talk to mum about if it is anyway.
