View Full Version : [HELP] Radio Presenting IRL!...
Basically... Kiss100 (the station i listen to) are doing 'KISS Chosen 1' again. I wanted to go last year but i thought I was too young (I was only 16 at the time) I am a year older now and also a year more experienced. I really wanna go but should I... like I swear RP's don't get paid? I love the station & it'd be great for me to do because I enjoy doing it here on fan sites but IRL...
should I?

Its gonna cost me £15 a day for transport. But I think its worth it to work withprofessionals! :-)
you will kick yourself if you don't do it. seems like an opportunity somebody so into djing like you would be silly to pass up

I think you should go for it because if doesn't work out you can always come back to habbox, and maybe have another go at it when it comes again :)
Who cares if it isn't paid?! You will kick yourself if you don't use this opportunity and go for it, I for one would if I ever wanted to DJ! Good luck and I hope it goes well :)

no problem. You get to meet Melvin, he's one of my favourite kiss DJs, love the breakfast show!
i think it's a big big step up, but definitely worth a shot. if it doesn't work out, look into pirate radio. my best friend from college is a dj on pirate radio and before did community radio www.kicfm.com and he's now getting work exp so easily with his cv. :}

Yeah you should definitely go for it. You'll regret it if you don't go for it, and plus it'll be a great experience for you.
It might even get yourecognizedfrom bigger radio stations, and a career could even be made.. Best of luck in whatever you decide! :)
