So i made yet another complaint ;) against one of the staff members for a stupid reply to my friend and this is the answer they replied with. Seems decent enough.

The first screenshot is of the 1st reply to which i was complaining about.

Appaz Erick and Katharina have been moved from support. They are bloody terrible. I have requested doreen for my ticket after my rubbish reply from katharina who had the absolute cheek to say she can't understand me and speak in proper english? LMAO

Katharina is absolutely useless. I have nothing against her for not having a full grasp on the English language. There are many of us in that situation, myself included. What I do have a problem with is putting these people with poor English in positions where they are meant to communicate officially and poignantly. She sounds like a very bad outsourced customer service agent and I am disappointed that Habbo would go to this level. In any case, I am glad Doreen sounds to be sorting things out.

Thank ******* God Doreen did something about it. And yes, Katharina's English isn't the best :S -nice to know we have good, useless, fluent English speaking support staff still here (i.e. Doreen)

I've no problem with katharine since i've not encountered her yet.. but erick is awful. He seems to be in a 'higher up' customer support role to me, since I was appealing about my perm ban, was getting a lot of replies from Alex I think and she was 1 step away from unbanning me, then he comes in all of a sudden and says no >: (

No offense but the way you complained was more atrocious then what you were complaining about. Also the fact you put "idiot's" sort of contrasts the point you were actually making.

But yeah they should have used someone who knows English well.

I doubt anything will come of it. That was probably just a standard response, but we'll see I guess. :P

Really. I had the opp problem. I appealed my 2 hr ban I got for literally nothing and was getting no where with Erick. I complained and got this response from alex. She seems quite good.

Yeah Alex is quite good. I've been banned since September, made about 5 help appeals. She was the one who got me the fursthest and actually understood what I was saying, but then once Erick came in the whole appeal came to an end because of what he said.. and he made loads of errors in his typing aswell. I was happy with Alex :'(

Ahhh Don't give up! Complain about him. I have heard people say he has been moved so maybe he was on ban appeals and is now on something diff.

I never use customer support really but i could highlight a part in your sentence Andy that displays bad engawish!

Doreen's reply was clearly a professional one, is she in charge of those workers like katharina? I'm thinking she should be after reading that.

They should think about hiring some people on here, they'd even do it for free.

I think you are on the right track! I understand that there are lot of older people who are in tune with teens and their needs but most of the customer support I read looks like you're trying to explain an issue to someone elderly who isn't fully sure what you are talking about. They type like my Grandparents, they are stubborn like my Grandparents and they seem to not understand Habbo fully like my Grandparents.

Sulake is making the mistake of trying to manage a game with people who aren't really capable of understand the core dynamics of the community they moderate. Bring in some younger, level-headed and fresh faces. I am not saying just anyone off of HxF or anything but there are mods and management on here who would be perfect customer service representatives for Habbo. Again, I will say that there are definitely older people who understand exactly what Habbo is and how it works but the majority of the customer support seem like they were picked from some online listing after they retired and wanted extra income.

In all honesty I can't see how people are getting decent replies these days.
I've been complaining for the past 2/3 hours about their services and pointless bannings.

They hired new staff and from my own experience, they have replied a lot faster and more efficiently than previous staff.

Unfortunately like most companies they outsource their workers (I'm pretty sure) in order to further drive costs down and profits up. As I said in previous posts people still play their game and buy their furniture so they have no reason to change what they're doing at the moment :P

The people here have a far greater understanding of Habbo, but I guess it's down to whose going to abuse their power if given it. Some people just can't handle being given a role which has power over ours, especially on games, though this is probably because they've been lacking power over others in real life ( bullying etc :( )

I doubt these people are elderly but I do see where you're coming from. I want to become a teacher and I feel like I can really relate to the students, as quite clearly most teachers are unable to do so in this day and age. :)
