There's nothing here that would require HTML5. I see the need for CSS3 but none @ all for html 5

I've gotta backup Tomm here. Having your website HTML5-compatible may not mean very much to you, but it enables you to be accessible by the assistive devices market amongst many other advantages. For example, if you code in HTML5 you'll be viewable in "Reader" in Safari for iOS, Kindle's (I think I read something about Kindle's parse pages through using things like descriptive HTML tags) and easily accessible by screen readers. A quick search for "advantages of html5" will do a better job of explaining what I'm failing at doing.

You might be thinking "I'm not aiming my site at blind people", but it's something that Google Search Ranking might start taking into account. It'll favour pages that embrace the latest & greatest technologies.

It's always better to invest a little more time and effort in making sure you're future proofed now rather than scrambling to do something later.

Also, it's a steal for a tenner. ;)
