What are you scared of?

I apologise in advance if there was a recent thread about this.

I'm extremely scared of spiders and insects. I used to be fine with them when I was younger but now they really creep me out!

Just seeing pictures of the horrible creatures scares me!

I also really hate clowns and the dark.. yeah. :( I find it hard sleeping at night at times because I'm so scared, haha.

Lately, I've become so scared of gigantic spiders (types you'd find in Australia) it's unreal x.x

Apart from that;

- Clowns
- Being Alone for too long
- Balloons - K, They feel funny and I'm always scared they'll pop.

Oh and hornets, cockroaches + wasps sometimes.

Blurgh, and Stephen King books.

i used to have a huge phobia of vomit that severely impacted my life when i was younger. its calmed down considerably now :)
sociopaths and mentally ill people that are dangerous. u know the type that walk down the road talking or laughing to themselves.
being home alone. i'll often stay awake on the laptop till i cant take it anymore then hide under my covers till i fall asleep.
sharks they are so beautiful and fascinating but TERRIFYING

It's not even my fear. Cats can play with my feet if I have my socks or shoes on. they tickle me.

Hmm, I don't know why I'm not afraid of death :S. I used to afraid of death about 5 years ago, but then I just suddenly realised I wasn't that scared about what happens after death.

Forgot to mention planes. I hate flying. I always come up with a huge list of things that could go wrong with a plane, just before I am about to fly.

I always get super excited when planning trips. Then I love going through airport security, but boarding the plane and waitingto board it just makes me think too much of how planes flying is impossibly wrong.

I'm scared of people and what they're capable of. I guess I'm afraid of being hurt the most, and afraid that I won't be able to cope with that. I am honestly surprised more people don't mention human beings in topics like these. They can bring you the most pleasure, yet also the most unbearable pain. There's a good excerpt from Murakami's novel South of the Border, West of the Sun that emphasizes this.

"She wasn't the only one who got hurt. I hurt myself deeply, though at the time I had no idea how deeply. Other than that, I guess I'm afraid of losing those close to me, and also of spiders and months, giant bugs and the like. I also have a phobia of ringing people on the phone.

This might come across as awkward, stupid or just ridiculous I don't know. The scariest thing I want to avoid is being jobless on the dole. Especially with my own family, I know what it's like and it's just not a nice experience and I'd never choose that for myself, so I want to prevent that happening to the best of my ability. I'm also scared of not being able to push myself as far as possible, I don't want to end in a dead end job. Ideally I want a career in law but hey maybe it's not possible. Jesus, this is all coming from a 13 year old - I don't see why I didn't just say spiders.

Big spiders for sure. I love tiny spiders, always play with them when they're about. I've never liked snakes, they don't have any arms or legs and can move :( I'm stupidly scared of being suffocated, probably more of a fear than anything. I feel scared even with the blanket over my head or being close to someone with my mouth towards them. I think it might be because of my brother when I was younger, he used to jokingly put a pillow over my head :'( I'm scared of crossing the road when there isn't a green man, I'm sure that has stemmed from when I got knocked down as a child.
