View Full Version : Speaking with the Sulake CEO

Myself and a few others including Skier had a chat with the Sulake CEO a few minutes ago.

A few very interesting things popped up and I've learned more about his ideas for the Habbo CM system.

There's lot's of details so if there's any specific questions you need answered, let me know.

Thanks

You aren't the sulake CEO so I doubt you can answer 'specific questions', perhaps posting a log of what has been discussed would be a better idea. The majority of the features of this proposed system have been (vaguely) outlined already by Paul and other staff and are no doubt dotted about the forum and/or on their twitters.

We went through almost everything with the CEO, so I have a lot of answers to 'specific questions' that people may want to ask.

I do not have a log of what was said. The CEO went through a number of details which weren't publicly released with a few of us. I was asking if you had any specific questions, ask them and I will try to answer them with the information I know. My apologies if my question was not phrased to your standards & thanks for not being so snappy straight away.

Okay my question issssss... what can you tell us about the Habbo CMs? Why are they allowing 13 year olds to view chat logs and answer calls for help? :)

Well if you're not full of crap tell me what the Habbo CM badge will look like and also post a picture is possible, I'd like to see it.

Edit: If habbo CM's are anyone over 13 this will cause a stir as if you think about it the newer players on Habbo may enter their passwords into the helptool saying: "Hi I'm new my password is password123, can I have free stuff?" I know for a fact my brother did it when he first joined and I've had Hobbas tell me it used to happen as well, this is going to cause hell.

Sorry i have not used habbo in a LONG time what is Habbo CMS?

A "HabboCM" is an upcoming program similar to that of the Habbo eXperts, Guides and Hobbas, this guy probably hasn't spoken with the CEO but it's worth waiting to see if he has.

Stands for "Habbo Community Management", it's a new support system (e.g. a replacement to hobbas, guides, eXperts) that'll be implemented in the Summer.

Some FAQs here: http://habbox.com/#!/News/article/1144

Oh, Another words there saving money. Not employing any more moderators and getting fickle teenagers to do the job. That should be fun.

Prepare for the usually backlash when Habbo attempt to get the community moderating the community - privacy concerns, fraudulent activities, power abuse and favouritism. It wouldn't surprise me if it goes the same way as eXperts.

Okay my question issssss... what can you tell us about the Habbo CMs? Why are they allowing 13 year olds to view chat logs and answer calls for help? :)

We discussed how there could be three different tiers for the HabboCM project. We discussed this and he took this in & agreed that there shouldn't be minors dealing with CFHs however agreed that they should have the ability to help others. We discussed how one tier could be 18+ for responding to call for helps & possibly dealing with short term bans. The other tiers were undiscussed however Paul expressed interest that he wants everyone to have an opportunity.

It was a Habbo conversation we had. He did not provide a badge and he said that the project is in early development and should be out within the next 2-3 months. We discussed how to 'remake' the welcome lounge & to make this a place where new Habbo's immediately go to be guided by CMs however he said that the welcome lounge was a place in the past where scammers would take advantage of new Habbo's. We explained to him that this was not necessarily the case.

A "HabboCM" is an upcoming program similar to that of the Habbo eXperts, Guides and Hobbas, this guy probably hasn't spoken with the CEO but it's worth waiting to see if he has.

I have chatted to the CEO on Twitter and expressed my ideas to him. He added myself on Habbo & I invited him to go to the help centre of which I work at ([HAT] Habbo Advice Team) and he expressed interest in viewing our infobus. There were around 14 of us in a room, including:

Jorc
Speedy (aka Killian)
Snatter (myself)
Skier
Paul (the CEO)

and several others.

Paul said that the ideas were very helpful in gaining an idea of how big the system should be. We said that we believe the system should cater for <50 Habbo CMs however this was increased to 50 per 'continent' so to speak and he said this was also a good idea.

He mentioned of bringing sectioned Habbo CMs to the table, something like the 'Tech Xs', 'Safety Xs', 'Gaming Xs' but we quickly slammed this idea and I think he was aware of that.

There's definitely more details but I need to be asked questions to remember what he told us!

Thanks

I've posted an image above which shows proof that I was in the room at the time.

My negative reputation does not verify that I am a 'liar' however one of you [probably you] seems to think so. How about you pop around to [HAT] Habbo Advice Team (the oldest help centre in Habbo) and have a chat with some of the people I've mentioned above and verify my whereabouts. *REMOVED*

Also - you'll find that 'Paulwalla' (the CEO) is a member of our [HAT] Infobus group and he joined today. He is only a member of two groups, a staff group & the [HAT] Infobus group.
Go to the navigator, search for '[SH] Infobus', hover over the top room, visit the home group & check the members.

You sure you don't want to rectify your comment? So... out of this list, you've worked/fired with how many?

Jorc
Speedy (aka Killian)
Snatter (myself)
Skier
Paul (the CEO)

Worked with: Skier, Snatter (2)?
Fired? 0?

Speedy (aka Killian) some random kid who no1 knows

Think you're getting slightly off-topic however myself and Jorc were removed by Damien & CK. To recollect your memory, you took over from us.

Speedy is probably older than yourself so I'd refrain from calling him a 'kid' if you don't have any information on him.

Alright, I'm getting in contact witht he CEO before he's made a HabboCM as his account is infact stolen off a brute list (There's a "Speedy" from Finland Norway Canada US and even UK on the list) I can also supply proof, the fact is the CEO probably won't care, Speedy took it years ago. Regardless I'm not accusing him of anything really but in my opinion he either stole it or bought it. Either that or he was one of those people who used "123456" as their password years ago. Could you put me through to a way of talking to the CEO please, thanks.

I wouldn't worry about it, there guys are just people who like to make themselves feel like they have a use by sitting in empty 'help desks' all day on habbo. They certainly aren't shoe-ins for this 'habbo CM' programme.

Looks to me like the CM initiative is simply a clone of the habbo X programme and will likely be filled with those of the type. It's a well known fact that nobody joined the habbo X programme to actually help people (aside from perhaps a few from the first couple of batches) but rather for the badge, tools (room override) and the status that came with them.

First he says that the programme will be open to everybody and now there's talk about 50 from each continent? make your mind up paul. can already predict what will happen with this flop of a feature and don't want any part in it.

I agree with your second point partially but I wouldn't call our help desk empty all day. Last night we were 20/25 full (not with Paul there) and yes, there was people looking for help. I would be more concerned with people restarting or starting up new help centres with the news of this CM programme.

I fully agree with this, however I would like to state people who steal accounts and then go sit in a helpdesk aren't exactly good role models for new usrs. Also the hotels precious users Toby and Barry also happen to have a "darker" (if you could call it that) account history.

Not saying he does own them or did own them, he happened to steal the Canadian one however. I know he stole it as well because I logged onto all of them and a bunch of other "Rare Names" that I know for a fact are known Habbo players now. Jyoko is one of them who owns the Make Habbo Better group.

I hope I have a chance to be a French CM! I don't think people who have bruted names should be allowed to be a CM. They like to take the rare name and pass off that they have owned it and created it since it existed. They think it gives them 'status' (although a lot less since the purge of names now that everyone and their best friend has their first name as their username) and I guess they get off on that. Bruting is not allowed and I hope that when they are vetting CMs they take a long look in to account history!

I'm not sharing the link to a brutelist, it's illegal. Also I am not in a mood to get banned on the forum. His account wasn't compromised and posted, I know this because I partially helped in making a few lists myself (I'm an honest person and I've done things in the past), Speedy always appeared on them as it had the default Habbo look (spiked hair gray shirt etc). Also if he had 123 as his password he can't blab on about how safety involved he is and how good of a guide he is, I'll do a video of the site but I am most certainly not linking you to a brute list filled with rare accounts and accounts that people currently use.

p.s why would I go through the effort of faking a huge brutelist (look at the side bar it's pretty damn big) the problem with doing a video of a brutelist is the fact it's gonna show a lot of peoples names. If Habbox staff let me do this I'll do so and post a video of this list AND another list with his account on it.

In all honesty, Speedy wouldn't even know how or where to look for bruce force lists. I find it hard to believe that you remember the name 'Speedy' being on your brute force lists all the way back over 8 years ago. I asked him today & he asked me to tell him what a 'brute force list' is.

Of course he's not going to be like "Yeah I got my account from one" point being I remember loads of names, Speedy, 123, Chibi, Cult, NutterButters, Extreme, Neither, Either, F and many others, when I see a name in client it gives me a flash back of sorts. If Speedy has been around as long as he claims to have been he'd know what brute forcing is. Everyone feared it back then. It's why no one had 123 and 123456 as their passwords on main accounts. I'm uploading a video of the list now for you, it's a little squashed as I had to shrink the window but you can clearly see his name.
