okay there's lots of pop going down in the music forum at the moment (which is fab don't get me wrong) so i thought i'd bring some shikari to the party.

any shikari fans on here? i know of a few but i'm wondering if there's any more lurking around.

they've changed their style a little bit over the last 5 years so gonna give you a brief enter shikari history lesson in the 3 video allowance hahaha. also anyone going to/been to the uk tour that's going on at the moment? i had a ticket but then yeah, so jealous of anyone who went.

I've heard a few songs and I'm not the biggest of fans but some songs aren't bad. I like the Solidarity one the most, but I haven't heard many!

the third one wasn't as bad, it's one of the best i've heard of theirs. there's also this song which i think is even better..

i dunno why but for me anyway each of their albums has fitted in with the mentality i'm in/my school of thinking at the time of their release. i can understand why people who were more into the first album don't really like or get affoc though, completely.

common dreads i really liked, apart from when they go 'hard' or whatever, zzzonked, juggernauts, the jester, etc. are all REALLY annoying.

Saw them last night for the 6th time.

Favourite of all time is either Johnny Sniper or Return to energizer. First album is the best they've done IMO.

I've heard some of their stuff do like Juggernauts. My problem is while I love music it seems to take me a while to actually sit down and listen to an album properly and usually it takes me a few listens to enjoy something. I probably will need to listen to some of their stuff soon as it's probably my kind of thing.
