Do you attend parents evening with your parents? Do you get worried? Does it always turn out alright in the end? :D

I've found it's better when I go because teacher's tend to ***** about you less.
my mom said she wouldn't go after year 8 because she was fed up of teachers telling her i was "wasting my potential" hahhaahha.

Yeah I do go to parents evening with my parents and I'm not really nervous because I know I am not failing hugely in all my subjects.

Nope Ive never been to a parents evening, and I'm not nervous about them because I have nothing to worry about.
Yeah and no because I wasn't too bad :D
Had my last one ever a few weeks ago. Went pretty incredibly really. Had one teacher saying I need to do some more revision in my computing theory, and the rest were just like "he's amazin". Left me with a pretty big smile :>
I used to always have years where they'd be all nice, but it gradually got hit 'n' miss, and back to nice again. Wahey.
Wow how mine is tonight :S But yeah, im sitting here pretty tense!

Yeah I go, not usually nervous - just annoyed when I always get my science teachers saying "you should do Biology in college" every. single. time. I'm not bad at biology but I don't want to do it in college really.
But yeah, I prefer to go with parents, otherwise I might get **** chatted about me aha :(

I always avoid parents evening, just because it is a waste of time. They usually say the same thing or I could tell my parents exactly what they would say. Infact once a few years ago, the teacher didn't even know who I was and got me confused with someone else (this was a teacher who was really oblivious).

Yeah I go but my parents don't bother going to mine in College I think it's a process of if somethings up they will get a letter, plus my Mum's disabled so she can't be walking up all the stairs when my English Language is on the 3rd floor and ICT on the 2nd.
I used to make my Mum laugh though as my Maths teacher was Swedish so she'd say 'hello darling' and it sounded like Bubbles off Little Britain but luckily she didn't say it or my Mum would have laughed. She was always a good teacher to me telling us about her famous Golfer Son (Danny Willett google him he's cool) and we near enough all got good grades so woo!
My ICT teacher always used to say I was quiet, everytime!!!

they used to do that to my sister all the time cause she was quite a good/quiet kid, they'd get her mixed up and it used to piss my mom off so much.
or they'd tell her about my behaviour at my sisters parents evenings haaaaaaaaaa.
i've been to all of them apart from my recent one, it was pointless going imo.
they always say the same thing every year, i'm doing well and need to improve on certain areas.
I went every time yeah, they would say I had great intellect but would just screw about.
I do go along to my parents evening, it's never anything bad but I do always get a little nervous on what they're going to say.

I attended every parents evening with my mum except the last one because i knew i was going to get in **** so i'd rather have my mum shout at me at home than in school :|

My mum never used to come to any of my parents evenings because they say the same thing over and over it was like a broken record, she knew how I was doing at school I mean c'mon... We do communicate on a daily basis! Made me laugh when my college tried to hold a parents evening I don't think anybody actually even shown up.
used to ignore the letters and rip them up, didnt want my parents going to parents evening lol

the school i go to students aren't allowed to attend parents evening so my mum goes without me, they usually say loads of great stuff apart from every teacher saying i talk too much haha
We have this awful system at my school which is almost like speed dating. You get 5 minutes with every teacher you chose to talk to. I only ever chose the teacher from the subjects I'm good in, ha (A). It's kinda ****** as they don't talk much so there's not much point. Then we have these 20 minute parent things with my tutor twice a school yr, that's not so bad but they don't really talk much about the subjects, just targets. I'm never really worried (I don't really think there's anything I need to be so worried about) and they usually go fine! :)
