Was just sat here thinking cause my mums away on holiday, do you guys like being home alone? I know some of you probably live on your own or with house mates so some of you are used to it but for the ones who aren't do you like it?

I like it sometimes cause I can blare my music out as loud as I want but I hate it cause I aint motivated enough to clean up properly (I will have to go on a major clean tomorrow eurg) and also sometimes I get scared cause I think I'm gonna turn around and see:

My parents have gone away for the weekend so I am just home with my younger brother atm. I don't mind not having them around, its actually a nice change! :D

It's alright, depends. I like it when I have a mate over or something - been home alone is sick but then Mum doesn't cook me dinner & clean up :'(

I prefer being alone. It means there's no disturbances and a lot of peace. Also means my friends can come and live with me for a while. I don't get scared. Sometimes I can't even be bothered to lock the door at night.

I don't think I would like living in my house on my own. I like having the appartment, I share with my friends at uni to myself though! Easter I will probably stay up here for a couple of weeks by my self.

I live alone in a hotel and, although there are many downsides (it is isolating), I am pretty happy and I think I prefer being on my own.

I've never been alone, my parents aren't those who go on holiday and leave their kids behind. Sometimes though my mum goes to bed so I do too just because I don't like turning the lights off because they're near the doors and not near the stairs.

My family went on holiday one time and I stayed behind (cant remember why lol). I enjoyed being on my own at first but after a while I missed the family chatter. Also when you're alone you seem to hear more of the creaking that occurs round the house.

i hate it so much. i'm not even a fan of sleeping in a room by myself and i have since i could sleep in a big bed... it's okay to blast music, eat all the food sit around half naked but i'm scared someone will break in. they actually would in my area, especially cause of my brother. if i can't stay at a friends house when my mum is out then i stay under the duvet on the internet, not with the lights on though i dunno, until i fall asleep

I don't mind be alone, it's so quiet and I have the freedom to do almost anything I like.
Like for example, Raving on my own.

I find it more calming as well, I get very annoyed when people annoy me after I've just sat down or something.

Meh, I don't really mind. The big problem is I can hear my neighbours really well, so if there was a bang, I'd assume it was from my house lmfao and then panic! I only like it when it's light outside, if it's night time and they're out then I hate it. :(

I love it aha, I'm home alone so much in realll, in fact I'm alone all day today and tomorrow - family gone to a wedding and they're staying overnight at the hotel because my mum is a bridesmaid? I think :S (Shows how much I pay attention).

I don't mind being home alone when it's light but when it's dark I hate it cause I think someone's gonna break in or something so I have to lock all the doors and close the curtains and stuff cause it creeps me out that you can see in but I can't see out

Well where I live there is only me and my mum, she works long shifts most of the week so I'm always on my own, I can't really say I know any different as I don't have any siblings. Even though I still rely on my mum alot, I cook for myself but that's about it, I just don't have the motivation to clean etc. God help me for when I get a place of my own

haha i got left for 3 hours from 12am - 3am with my brother and sister not long ago and i left them downstairs to do whatever and i didn't even remember my 4 year old sister would of been tired at like half 2 oooops.. like being alone though, just not when ive got them with me

I'm not afraid of anything at my house cause I've been living there for almost two decades. So, forget the superstitious ****! However, I don't like being home alone cause I'll be very lonely and there's nobody I could talk to but if I have to be home alone, I'm ok with it. Doesnt really matter to me

It's nice and peaceful for a few hours, + it's the only time i can play piano, but i get rly lonely if it's for too long :(

I don't mind it, means I can have a few mates just to chill round here with music and stuff at night. 18 now don't really get scared at night because it's an alright area except this time that my neighbours car got stolen out of his locked garage, and the night it happened the whole street power went off for a good 45 mins.
