Yeah we thought that too :( It kinda ruined their moment in a way, and personally I like them as a duo and I thought her voice was actually really pretty and they worked so well together. Plus its obvious she has been his support and stuff helping him get over his nerves so I found the way Simon spoke about her completely unfair and it detracted from the whole happiness they should have been feeling!

Yeah he was, there was no need for that when she wasn't crap! They supported each other really well and I'm so glad Jonathon was like we came as a duo so we're staying as a duo, I thought that was so cute :)

I am loving David in this series he seems to liven up things and make it more entertaining. The couple nearer the end with their amazing voices were unreal.

I think it would of been good to have David and Michael but I think David adds something different to the show which makes the show! Simon did well with choosing the judges this time.

Awww bless her, yeah I remember my friends brother went on it and he had two and then got kicked out and ever saw the judges! Just they let some of the awful ones through just for entertainment on TV.

I don't agree with the 'lower quality acts purely for entertainment' on shows like BGT and XFactor, it just, ruins it a little bit, and everyone complains when the lower level acts get far in the competition...

Hence why I like The Voice a LOT more than BGT's style at the minute,

Even though, I did really get in to it on Saturday, and I'm loving David on the panel, think Alesha needs to chill out a bit, but apart from that, I quite enjoyed it :)

I agree, I don't think it should be done but I bet some people only watch BGT for the humiliating acts in the auditions :P The public like to see people making a fool of themselves!

david!! he makes the show, i wouldn't watch otherwise. michael does nothing for me.
jonathon was so scripted. you see simon at the beginning "and you thought it couldn't get worse". yup, scripted. bless him though, i love how before he sang he was all shy and nervous and after he sang he returned to the same really. i hope he doesn't change. can't really remember anyone else ha so guess that was the only good act

I have to agree that he'd be a lot better singing alone... just a shame he relies on the girl for confidence. Her pitch kinda ruined it in places.

You're right about it all being scripted as well... look at his other Youtube videos. He doesn't look anywhere near as nervous as he makes out!

I think ever since 'The Voice' it has taken peoples interests of bgts as i believe people are bored of seeing idiots and it's nice for a change to see people who are actually talented. Even though i still watch bgt i don't enjoy it as much as the voice.

I think a lot of people watch bgt for the entertainment especially the auditions because there are always some that are absolute rubbish and are just shown for comedy value!

Most things on TV these days are based on a script to make sure everything fits in the running time.

But when it is live ;) Ant and Dec will have guidance on what to say but maybe not word for word and even when it's edited they need to ensure that there isn't too much dialogue and stuff because they still have to stick to a time limit.

I kind of agree with you. However there is a big problem with X Factor that Britain's Got Talent doesn't have:

The X Factor is basically come on and sing all these different covers and so on. Occasionally you get a singer playing with a guitar. However Britain's Got Talent allows actual musicians coming on playing instruments, bands to and on top of that they can play their own stuff.

I'd maybe like the X Factor more if it allowed them to actually try and be unique and their own person instead of asking them to cover song after song. Maybe all the acts they produced that have failed wouldn't have if they actually put some song writing sessions into the show
