Have you ever been hospitalized and if yes, how long was it and why were you hospitalized?
I was hospitalized once back in 2010 for a week due to a fatal car accident, I could say. Yeah it was quite serious and all the blood etc.etc
What about you?

a few times.

when i was little i ripped my face open on some glass and then i ripped my own stitches out (idk why i was like 4) so i had to stay in for a bit, when i was 13 i was in a coma for a week or so and in hospital for nearly a month but i don't really want to go in why and then i went in for dehydration when i was 17, totes my own fault, am an idiot.

oh completely forgot got spiked during freshers too, i say spiked: there were things found in my blood that shouldn't have been there, but i was so absolutely wasted i coulda taken anything. i was found near a bush though, c l a s s y as always. i texted my friend alex just before they rang the ambulance (i will find the pic but i can't right now hmmm)

When I was 3 months old on Christmas day I went to hospital because I was bitten by a mosquito and had a huge reaction, of course I don't remember it now but I don't think I was there for long, probably just got some medication.

When I was 5 I was walking inside and my brother was walking outside through the front door, and he thought it would be funny to close the door and me, and yeah I was in hospital overnight because I squished my pinky finger in the door hinge and I had an operation on it too.

When I was 11? maybe or 12, I was jumping on the trampoline, tried to do a cool awesome trick and of course failed miserably so I had to go to hospital coz I broke (in 2 places) and dislocated my thumb.

Not really, unless you count waiting in A&E for around 7 hours to get my thumb checked out because I broke it while unpacking some crates for charity work.

I have had two operations which meant staying in hospital and I also had to stay on the CLIC ward for a couple of days

I haven't, soo. I'm surprised you haven't been hospitalised for someone attempting murder on you

I went in the hospital for two hours, once. But that was only for an xray to check if I'd broken anything, because I fell off a zip wire on a school trip xD

Chris

When I was younger I had to go in, but it wasn't for long and I avoided any operations luckily.

i'm getting PMs now to telling me to stop targeting you () but i think i've made it pretty clearly exactly what i think of you. (yeye mods d/w now i'm done)

anywho hospitalisation sucks, the NHS (as wonderful as they are) sometimes take aaaages to see you if you go A&E. it's not fun sat there after sustaining a head injury on the road haha

Well I had countless operations when I was a baby because I was 3 months premature, mum says I weighed something like a bag of sugar (can't remember my exact weight but it was literally something redic like 1pound 12ounces) so ye I was in hospital for months at a time doctors said to my parents they should prepare for the worst but here I am 19 years later.

Nah not been hospitalised but I've had two operations on my teeth in hospital.

Also been told I had a heart murmur so had to go to hospital then too oh and had to go because I had a squint, well I still have it, to think I didn't know what it was until last month.

If I didn't eat anything after my first oepration though I would have had to stay in :(.

erm I've been to hospital but never stayed over night I don't think

When I was a baby my brother shut a door on my arm and it like dislocated so I went to hozzy cause of that

Also I badly sprained my ankle on guide camp and it took them 2 ******* days to take me to hospital and forced me to walk on it fairly often, but I went to A & E and was literally seen straight away and they were fantastic so GO NHS

Well I had my appendix taken out but when they got in there they realised it wasn't appendicitis, I actually has a cyst on my ovary which had actually burst and I was in hospital for like 3 days after because the local anesthetic made me really ill and I was really weak and kept throwing up and they wouldn't let me out until I ate :(

I was also in hospital again when I got (I can't remember the really long medical term) two massive boil like cyst things under one armpit and one under the other. They popped the single one which was disgusting as piles and piles of puss and blood came out and yes it was extremely painful:( The ones under the other armpit got so big I couldn't put my arm down and they actually looked like a pair of balls (LOL) but yeah they managed to pop one but the other apparently couldn't as it was to big so had to be removed through operation and after that I had a hole in my armpit which had to be packed:( It's all fine now just a big scar.

I'm sure you all loved reading my long, disgusting story ;)

dont know if this counts but having four teeth surgically removed under anaesthetic and having my gum cut in half to bring down another tooth. couldn't eat properly for like a week. was in there for the whole day rocking out in ma pjs and while i was waiting found the games room and thrashed my dad on some PS1 game. this was only a couple of years ago, the games room was very outdated.

Yes- once when I broke my arm when I was like 2 and I don't even remember anything :S

And again when I had my tonsils removed in year 4. It took them 3 weeks to notice and they still only realised when I stopped eating and starting throwing up acids :(

And then again when I got a needle inside my knee 'cause our house was being redecorated and I knelt on a pair of curtains and my foster family told me I was overreacting but they gave in after 4 days of total torture for me. Goodbye to them :)

AND LASTLY just under a month ago because I slashed my eye on a tree. You can't see the scar anymore, but I'm partially blind in my right eye now woo I'm so special

worst I had was spending 5 days in ICU.

Nope. Fractured my arm once and bruised my bone another because I was a totally radical wild child who showed off by climbing everything and anything, but that was just kind of in, cast, out, back in three weeks, cast off, back to climbing. Never had to stay at the hosptial very long.

Conspiracy.
26-03-2012, 06:33 PM
Four times.

I broke my collar bone when I was 3.
I had my appendix removed when I was 6 (I now have a weird scar)
I had my tonsils removed when I was 8.
I started coughing up blood a week after I had my tonsils removed.

wait wut you were hospitalised for a fatal car incident... you a ghost den?

i been hospitalised loads as my body sucks, infections, meningitis scares lots of times, broken bones from ribs, ankles, legs, arms lmao you name it, hospitalised because usually they had broken in a way that needed operating on like my wrist which killed a blood supply and so on.
Most recently I was rushed to hospital with appendicitis and had to have surgery, worst days of my life in hospital, felt like i was dying.

i had an operation at the age of 6 months because my bowels turned inside out (lovely) and it meant i couldn't swallow milk or anything. got a huge scar on my tummy from it. i was in for about 9 days.

had all 4 wisdom teeth out in 2010, was in for 2 days because i was in a really bad state with them because of how badly the roots were damaged under my teeth.

fell over on glass in 2011 and cut my knee open and had to go to A&E.

yeah i think my sister had something up with her hips when she was born but they're fine now. there was another baby born on the same day as me, 11 weeks early like me, and she died a week after being born. was in the next incubator to me aswell apparently. i think my parents still keep in touch with her parents.

Been twice. With the door handle thing I never had to stay in. Once for an astma attack when I was younger and once a few years ago due to the door handle going into my arm and just missing my main vein. Had to wait ages to be seen for the door handle thing. It was like, hello I can see inside my arm and it's kinda bleeding quite abit more then it should have XD

Stayed in hospital for quite a bit when I was young (like 6-7) due to this illness I got called henoch schonlein purpura. (Idk if thats spelt right haha), basically my joints swelled up, I got constant temperatures, purple spots etc haha. Was told that it can sometimes lead to kidney dissorder which can be v.serious but I was lucky that it didn't come to that. Was in a wheelchair for a couple of weeks too during the worst part.

I was hospitalized about, 8 or 9 years ago for a couple of hours. I split my forehead open, had to get stitches and bandaged up. The amount of blood lost was mad, it was like as if someone had been killed or stabbed.

& also when I broke my wrists when I was younger! :P

twice.
once when i broke my toe by trying to play football in the house when i was little. i missed the football and hit the wall, epic fail.
another time when the dentist had to take 4 of my teeth out, he got 3 out and snapped the remaining tooth and couldn't get the remaining half out. so got send to the hospital so that they could dig in my gum and get it out.

hate hospitals, depressing, smelly and crap.
