Night clubs

Anyone else hate night clubs? I seem to be the only person who lives in this damn village who hates them :P

They just annoy me. There's too many people, the music is too loud (so I can't speak to my friends), the drinks are stupidly expensive (and normally warm :|), the queues to the bar are too long, people are too drunk and annoying, people are too close to me, the floors are sticky and there's always a chance a fight will break out.

Then people call me boring because I hate them :P

Tend to avoid clubs if I'm honest. Probably go to a club once every 2 weeks or so. Would much rather have a pub crawl.

Not a massive fan usually because I just get annoyed at how EVERY SINGLE BLOODY CLUB ends up playing crappy indie/rock tunes rather than, y'know, club music. Only time you get an actual trance track or something like that is if it's Top 40, which is next to never. Also not a fan of the crappy indie/rock people in the clubs, all looking exactly the same (cheap) and generally being among the most boring creatures in the world. Can't understand what half of them go clubbing for as they don't seem to actually dance or anything...

Depends what you mean by Nightclubs really... In the general sense, where it's everybody would go then yeah they're okay but the music is kinda crappy and the people are a bit fighty, drinks are overpriced and it isn't all that fun. But the kind of nightclubs I go to are aimed more at a certain genre, so I don't have to put up with much of the above crap, everyones too drugged up to care.

I'm not a massive fan of pubs either :/ I prefer them to clubs though. Pubs also have the same problems but are reduced a lot :P

Last club I went to some girl was snorting coke at the back of a toilet. Fun times -____-

I have to admit I'm not a massive fan of clubs either, really expensive to get in especially when I don't tend to even spend a lot when I'm out I don't feel like forking out more money than I have to. I tend to just go to late bars however I will occasionally go to a club but it just depends what all my mates are doing and when I do go to them I actually do enjoy it but I just don't go very often like I said I much prefer bars. Saying all that I once went to oceana and paid a ridiculous amount but I actually loved it!

i like clubbing cause i'm not usually ready to go home once the pubs have closed. i go clubbing pretty much every week. i live in a small area so there is only one club which everyone will go to and i like it because you'll always have someone to talk to (or buy you drinks ;)).

we have an upstairs where there is a smoking room and it's quieter so you can go up if you want to talk to someone. the drunk people here are HILARIOUS and i'm usually too drunk to remember the music so don't really care about that and i don't expect anything else anyway. in town though certain clubs play certain genres of music on certain days so there's something for everyone.

you have like a club for the 'chavs' (free drugs, get your drink spiked most the time) and the single lads looking to get laid, clubs for those who like rock etcetc. yeah floors get sticky but people are DRUNK and they will spill alcohol so it would be stupid to think about going in with good shoes on. i enjoy the fighting at the end, brilliant end to a night even if the night was crap although not so much fun when it's you included.

i don't need to care about expensive drinks because our place is crawling with sad nearing middle aged lonely fisherman with nothing to spend their ridiculous wage on but alcohol. casino after clubbing is even better. my friends boyfriend paid £45 for 4 of us to get in to a place and that was £15 off. none of us even remember it so i bet it was annoying for him to lose out on all that money for practically nothing. worse thing about clubbing is getting your things nicked and it's usually from the bouncers... :/

i'll probably grow out of clubbing though but i'm young it's what i do!!! its the only thing to do round here. house parties only happen AFTER clubbing. & when im drunk i need to be around people and that's the perfect opportunity.

I would choose clubs over pubs any day at the minute...

I'm from a little village, and there's one 'nightclub' in it, and that annoys me, because it's just a joke.

But if you go to a big city or something, the clubs are just so much better than pubs imo :(

I like nightclubs! Drinks are really cheap the places I go in Cheltenham and one of the days is 3-4-1 so can't really complain. The music does get a bit repetitive but usually when i'm drunk, I don't care ha!

Im completely with you on this one. I much prefer a quiet drink in a pub than night clubs. I occasionally go to them with my friends but very rarely.

i have to be wasted to be in a club, but if i am then i really enjoy it. if i'm in birmingham (as i am at the moment) we do pubs mainly and i prefer pubs but at uni we went to like six different clubs a week and i loved it. think it's cause they were student though and we were always with a massive group and it was cheap and cheerful woooo.

Actually, I'm not a fan of drinking a lot of alcohol LOL. I don't mind getting a little tipsy/giggly but my friends get stupidly drunk. I don't really see the point. You'll probably forget what happened the morning after and you'll get a hangover :| I don't want to pay money to forget what happened and to have a headache. I also don't like not being in control of myself.

Def agree with my gurl Ryan that predrinks is the best bit by a long way - personally far prefer house parties as it's just a whole night of that and usually without people I don't like

but yeah, i love clubs (well whenever the music isn't indie music, eurgh :l). the student ones here are pretty good but srsly lol and whoever (don't care enough to go back and find who) said they don't like clubs because it's too loud and they can't talk to their friends. if you wanna talk/socialise to ppl in a club, then you just go to the smoking area :S yeah, second-hand smoking but when you're pissed who srsly cares lol. mind you, i could never go to a club sober tho. every time i don't pre-drink enough i'm always a miserable **** and just go home if i don't wanna pay £££ for more drinks.

i will srsly miss not being a student soon though, and i'm sure my opinion on clubs will change. hopefully not too soon tho :(

I like night clubs ones in the US are boring but, when I go to south America the ones with latin people are really fun. They can get crazy! lol :) But, I enjoy them.

It depends really.

When I'm out I will usually start of at a pub maybe go to a few small bars and end up at the end at a nightclub, usually concrete which is probably the busiest and best down in my town Carlisle.

I remember going to a headphone party, the music wasn't that good but at least you could take the headphones off at the bar and ask for drinks clearly. They had music on but it was quiet.

But yeah I'll start at the quieter places and end up at the loud one at the end where usually your a little drunk by then anyway's.

Nah, I find it quite funny because they just don't realise how much of a *** they look at time :) It gets a bit annoying when you get lads pinching your arse, and hardly any girls but oh well hahahha!
