They've also left really deep scratches along my door, can only just get my petrol cap open now and the bumper needs replacing too and the car isn't standard spec :l

Thank god they left their insurance details

Ah i see... his was a fleet car so i'm quite worried they won't pay up :l

Phone up the other guy and ask him if he'd prefer to pay you the cash for the repairs. Saves going through insurance and increasing both your premiums.

i tried that recently. the guy had already informed both our insurance companies of an accident before i'd even got home from the actual accident. :(

It's not their car, it's a department of health care so that wouldn't really work

I crashed in to someone once, accident, ish, and gave him all my insurance and everything, never heard anything from him again... Was definitely odd.

'least the guy did leave his insurance details, sure they're one of few that actually would...

tbh, you're lucky to have the details left for you. my mum's car got scratched a few times and they just drove off. what can we do right

No... it's called clumsy driving. Although sometimes it's so difficult to get out, good drivers would avoid it.

Nice of the guy to leave the details for you, some people would probably just drive off and not care.
