Just curious to who actually played Mario 64 back in the day.

I think it's one of my all time favourite games. I remember my childhood playing the game but never actually getting to far into it. Recently I downloaded a N64 emulator and played it. I managed to do a speed run and finish it with 120 stars in about 4 hours.

This game brought back so-many memories for me so just wondering if anyone has any ideas of retro games like that they played as a child e.g original Metal Gear Solid, Crash Bandicoot.

I still have my N64 and loads of games including super mario 64. I loved my N64, the first game I ever got for it was Goldeneye (it came with my n64, i still have the box for it and everything) however my favourite game back then and still and likely always will be The legend of Zelda : Ocarina of time. :)

OMG I forgot about both of them. I remember the multi-player mode on golden eye playing 4 player with friends for countless hours :D

I still have my N64 (early 90s kid ftw)

Goldeneye was my favourite, but I also enjoyed Mario Kart :)

Was more of a Zelda fan, but still played a hefty dose of Mario. I used to buy most of my N64 games second hand so they'd always have a load of saves on from previous owners and I'd just switch between them. Those were the days. I downloaded Super Mario 64 on my Wii actually. Should really play it again sometime.

I pretty much played N64 the day it came out in North America in 1996. I remember asking my mom to buy me a nintendo 64 for christmas, i dont blame her, it was $200 new! I remember walking to Toys R Us and they had a demo 64 with Diddy Kong Racing, i loved it. So amazing. I sold my very first N64 and i kind of regret doing that so my friend gave me his nintendo 64 that's been sitting in storage for years and i mean YEARS, probably at least 5-10 years. It had dust on it like no other, but i just blew the dust off and popped in a game and it worked like a charm.

I also have a Sega Genesis as well, or mega drive that they call it in Europe.

My nan has a N64 (she doesnt play it though because her daughter gave it to her because they didnt play it) but whenever i go over there i always pull it out and play mario kart and super mario i think it was :) I also seen on the PlayStore (on an andriod phone) that there was an N64 emulator that you are able to download and play N64 games on your phone! I havent got any games as you have to download them from your laptop THEN put them on.. might do it tonight maybe :)
