Insects are in the majority of things.
Yeah, quite old news to me. I've been aware there were bugs in some foods for a while.

Knew this already!
It doesn't put me off.
Like a food chain, Sun > Plants > Bugs > Animals or people.

Never had one but this hasn't put me off and I definitely need to try one sometime.
If insects are good enough for Timon and Pumbaa they're good enough for me.
Good job I only like caramel frappucino's then :), but of course, I couldn't care less if the drink I was drinking had millions of crushed up bugs in.

Most things have insects in them, some are microscopical but still there. I don't like to think about it.

This is a stupid grab by whoever wrote this at a news story. A huge part of any food that is pink or red uses cochineal bugs for dye. This probably first became a 'breaking news' thing in the nineties if I remember correctly but as the article states, it is an
ingredient that's been around for centuries.
It just boggles my mind that they are bringing this up a couple decades after it became mainstream. Are they going to write a news article on every popular food or beverage that uses cochineal to get a pink or red colour?

I didn't know this but it doesn't bother me too much, it's the only thing I drink from Starbucks so some insects aren't about to stop me enjoying a good strawberry frappuccino.
