Since your asking, it's personally not something I would go for because I don't find them in any way attractive or comforting however all to their own if you want one get one :)

You can't really ask a bunch of people on the interwebz if you should get your lip pierced. Infact you can't really ask anyone, it's a personal decision.

imo they can look good or look terrible depending on the person getting it, if you want it and think it would suit then get it

It's up to you, if you like them then go for it. I had mine done when I was 17 but I only had it for about a month because I got really annoyed with it, the ball kept falling off and it was so annoying. It doesn't hurt though, hurts for about two seconds when they first do it and then it kind of aches, your lip swells up like a golf ball meh not fun I wouldn't personally have it done again.

Especially because you grow out of things like that too (well most of the time) if you think you're gonna like it go for it though.

if you like how they look then get one. just a warning they hurt like a ******* *****. it was the most painful of all my piercings, my tongue piercing didn't even hurt that bad. got the left side of my lip done last year but ended up taking it out a couple months ago cause i realized they look dumb

personal opinion I wouldn't get one but as everyone else has already said, it shouldn't really depend on what other people think about it, it's your body, if you like them get one :)

Like everyone else has said it's entirely down to you. Personally, I ADORED lip peircings when I was 16/17 and my mum begged me not to get one, it's the best decision I made because I hate them now and I would of regretted it so much, you can sometimes change your opinion on what looks good as you get older, so..

I've got a lip ring on my left side. I love it. I've had it 3 years. I don't remember it hurting that much, but everyone has their own opinion :)

Didn't hurt me at all when I had mine done, but be warned because if/when you take them out, the resulting scars look like buttholes on your face, no joke

As others said, if you want one then get it, but probably getting a fake piercing first, just because if it doesn't look good there's really no turning back.
I personally think they look nice. I've always wanted one, anyway.
