another thread about food *\o/*

I seriously hate it. Especially sharing my drink. If someone asks me for some of my drink I never give them any because I find sharing drink disgusting. All my friends think I'm a stingy ***** but I'm not lol. I've always been like that, I don't even drink or eat after my family. Does anyone else find this gross???

yeah i don't share drinks unless im drunk but sharing food is a huge NO

i couldn't eat something that's been on someone else's plate or if they've taken a bite out of it no way.

i don't mind sharing a drink as long as i know them well enough, and even then i would ask them to not put their mouth on the bottle/cup or whatever the drink is in. as for food it depends what it is, it if was something which they had a bite out of then no, but if it was something like chocolate (which you can break pieces off) it's not that much of a problem.

My brothers friend is such an impolite, eurgh.

My friend was eating her food the other day at my house, and my brothers friend was just like, can I have that if you're not eating it.. My friend said ye, but she just picked it off her plate with her hands and started eating it,

I was like, eurgh, you could have atleast waited until she'd finished :l

I'm not bothered about sharing anything with someone I know well :)

Don't mind sharing food because I can just break bits off but I don't like sharing drink unless they find something I can pour it into for them.

yeah i don't mind sharing drinks (i never have the dregs tho). with food, i guess it depends on the food itself (whether it's something that can be easily broken into other pieces etc.).

I really don't like sharing drinks, my friends always forget to bring a drink to school and I'm just like oh!! Food isn't so bad as, like Chris said, you can break bits off.

There's a whole selection process about this, but in general, no. I'll happily share, but I won't eat or drink after someone else has... they can finish the pack/bottle.

really don't mind sharing a drink with someone as long as i wipe it after they've drunk out of it and for food, it does depend on what it is, if it's in pieces or can be broken up it's fine but not if you have to bite off the same part haha

I really don't see a big deal with it, especially with drinking. If someone wishes to try a drink etc that I have they're more than welcome to. I'm not friends with anyone who's often ill or a tramp so I don't see how it's much of a concern. And after experiences drunk, at music festivals and on Duke of Edinburgh I've come to appreciate how little food/drink hygiene generally matters, if anything it'll improve your immune system.

Plus most couples generally eat/drink together (I know I did when I was in a couple), how's it any different sharing with other friends? It's just as likely they'll have some minor illness.

I don't do it that often but it depends who it is as to whether I'd be bothered at all

Never really come across sharing food, must just be the people I socialise with who don't do that naturally. Not bothered for sharing drinks - depends who drank it before me and how dirty their mouth it lol. During a hockey game I'm not fussed really, if I forget water I drink theirs or I share mine about.

If I am going to be snogging the guy - if he is special like that - I have no problem sharing everything and anything with him!

I don't care about food. If there are bite marks I'll pull bits off. I can't drink after a person though :/ it turns me sick. My mum always asks to drink some of my drink and it REALLY annoys me >______<

I suppose if I had a boyfriend/girlfriend I would drink after them.

I'm not too fussed about sharing drinks, as long as it's with someone I know. As for food, if I can break some off, it's a packet of something then I'm happy to share. If I'm eating something and don't want the rest and someone asks for it, they're happy to have it but I don't like people taking food off the plate I'm currently eating from cause that's just rude.

Nah I don't mind it at all, I don't think anyone in my family minds it so maybe it's the way I've been brought up.

I share my food and drink with others, I don't see a big problem with it. Depends on the person obviously.

By sharing food, in what way do you mean Wikiii like a plate of chips or pizza or something? or the same sandwich..

It doesn't really bother me, but I usually wipe the lid of the drink after. It was a habit I had when I was younger!

I don't find sharing either food or drink a problem. Unless they have a reputation for being unhygienic then I see it as fine. Most of the time I just split a bit off or ask them to sky it so they don't touch it, but I don't really mind. Germs are germs and I watched something that said it's fine because it builds up a better immune system :P

i don't mind sharing food because i can just avoid eating the bit that they've eaten, but i'm not a fan of it though.

i don't like sharing drinks it makes me cringe eww, i'd share it with my family if they were dying of dehydration lmao.
