I managed to get Viking FM on my phone radio the other day, I was listening to the song 'Rockstar by Nickelback.' When listening I noticed that one particular word was filtered throughout and that word was 'drug.' Although I don't think 'drug' is an extremely bad word I can see why it was, the word made me think of other words that are filtered on radio, television etc. For this competition I want you to tell me an odd word that you would filter on your radio and why.

The most unusual will win!

Good luck.

'please' songs would sound so empty without it.

And

Just because it'd entertain me to watch tv with 'and' blocked.

Or shouting should be blocked. All the soaps like Emmerdale and Holby city or whatever they are would be so... beepish... ;]

On a serious note, i would probably ban the word sex, Its becoming more used in songs and i think that its silly the government mentioning how teenagers are increasingly becoming pregnant, yet they allow songs to include sex and sexual references in music which is a teenagers influence :)

Btw nothings wrong with sex or sexual references im just saying how its silly they allow half of the content in music nowadays and then decide to give teenagers a label like that
:P

I would filter the word "Shawty". Wouldn't it be great if we could end JB's career? Who is Shawty? I don't care, so long as she doesn't burn down the dance floor, as she does seem to be notoriously flammable.

If i were reading out Requests, i would mute out the word Bleiber. So if someone sent in a request and said they were a Bleiber i would change it to something like " I am a homework fan" and make their request get a negative response, because im nice like that :)
