Did anyone else get a minimail today about applying to Habbo council?

I did, I applied wonder what it'll be like if I get in.

On the research lab forum and the minimail says its random but people thought it was habbo that always get picked and always win competitions etc yet people like revolver didn't so I think it was pretty rAndom myself.

500 people got chosen, and apparently they chose people on their recent habbo activity and the time they registered. system randomly chose habbos.

i've been on heaps and I didn't get one l0l! :'(

WHO DO YOU PICK AND HOW?
A: Picking members for such a council is obviously the tricky part. How do you make it fair, while still picking people that know Habbo very, very well? We started by letting our statistics help us. Based on various criteria ranging from recent activity in the Hotel to Habbo life time, we made our system randomly select 500 Habbos. However, as the saying goes, you can’t have too many chefs in the kitchen, which is why these Habbos have all been invited to send us an application (they received this invite by MiniMail today – please note, if you received it and had issues with your application “bouncing back”, you can resend it as we fixed the error now). Based on these applications, our Habbo Council team will pick the ones they think are best suited for this particular project.

i'm banned for a month on two accounts that i've been using lately and i only got banned on one yesterday and started using the one i'm using atm so i didn't get one and i doubt i have one on my banned accounts haha

Yeah me and Red; think it is to do with trades and stuff like that, maybe achievement scores. I have no idea. It's not the HabboCM project though, say's they will have no extra tools or powers just be able to view the council forum.

What happend to the original habbo council does anyone know? Was that a flop? I don't see why they're introducing all these things like HabboCM's and council members when it's been done before and evidently didn't work out but fair enough. Good luck to everyone who applied :)

If it's based on recent activity, that's probably why I didn't get one as i've been in and out of hospital, so not been able to get on! Hopefully there will be more opportunities for this.

I got told it was about trading mainly, not sure if that's true though! Nice for the staff to keep us updated.

is one of the criteria about safe trading?

what constitutes as safe trading, like do they do a ratio of how many times you do trades that are 2-sided, so you're not allowed to accept/make trades that the other person/you are not offering anything?

i do give a lot of furni away in trades, and i also loan a lot of furni out, does this make me an unsafe trader? i mean if there was other criteria that i didn't match with then i'd be glad to know, but if for some reason i got declined because i like to give furni away then that would really suck.
