Yes, but I only wear them in times where it unbearable otherwise. So basically looking at a screen at a distance or, in future, when I drive.

I've had glasses for about two years, but I think only two of my friends actually know. The only time I've worn them was when I went to see a subtitled film at the cinema. I'm short sighted, but it doesn't bother me a great deal. I'd need them for driving, apparently, but I don't intend on learning to drive anytime soon. I rarely watch television and anything I do watch is on my laptop, so no problem there. It used to be a problem when I couldn't see what number bus was coming in the distance, but I boycotted the bus service a long while ago, so I don't even have to worry about that anymore. If it gets worse, or if I decide to learn to drive, or if one day I think I might want to see the world in detail again, I'll just get laser eye surgery.

when i was at school i lied pretending i couldn't read at the opticians so i could get glasses. i wanted glasses, braces AND spots, idk why either......
so then i started wearing them when i didn't need to and now i need them but only for like reading number plates and signs. i didn't even realize i needed to wear them while driving until the day of my test when i couldn't read the number plates. how i passed, i'll never know.

yes i have them, i've had them for about 7 years now when my eyesight DRAMATICALLY deteriorated. i only wear them in lectures tho, otherwise i can see fine.

I probably do, both my parents have them and I'm pretty sure both of their parents have them, and many more aunts, uncles and cousins also have glasses. I'm due to go to the optometrist soon because it's been too long since I last went.

I need them since last year. I always wanted them when I was younger, but I was shocked at my opticions appointment last year when I could barely even read the letters that I got told I needed glasses. They're horrible prescription glasses as well so like in a bit when I have some money I'm gonna get some Morgan or Gok Wan glasses. I'm short sighted and I got told to wear them for watching tv/films, reading, whilst on computer and studying/whilst at school - that's literally everything I do right now :D

I'm going for an eye test on the 16th of April as when I'm reading I have to strain my eyes and then I get a headache. I probably do need them just for reading and I'd find it really helpful if I got them as I keep getting headaches in school when I have to read stuff. :( I don't mind glasses either so I wouldn't mind getting them. :)

I've had glasses all my life lol when I was about 3 I think I started having them. I got classes cos I have a squint on my right eye. I had an operation on it but I still need to wear glasses :) I actually really like them tbh but might be because Im used to them and they don't bother me :D

Yeah, I have glasses. I can't say I ever wear them (and I have had poor vision since my preteens — now in my twenties) except to drive because my license mandates that I wear them. I have done this and that with contact lenses as well, ones in different colours and regular ones. I like the colours but generally I do not bother because I don't care that my vision far away is blurry. I have a few expensive pairs of prescription glasses that I could never afford but got when I was younger because my Mum had a good health plan at work. They are Italian, I think — not this brand below for sure but they have half-frames on the top like these ones. A bit nicer, though. Those are the ones I wear when I drive.
